Happy Thanksgiving???

This is going to be a long post just to warn you! So lately my right leg has been numb and the numbness has been moving into my stomach and into my arms. I didn't think much of it because I didn't have ANY pain what so ever, and I just thought that it was a pinched nerve from carrying my fat children around. Derek insisted that I go to the doctor. So I went to the doctor and the couldn't figure out what was going on with my body and they gave me some anti inflammatory pills to see if that would help and if it didn't then I would have an MRI done. I went back to the doctor because they didn't help at all, in fact I was becoming more numb! So they scheduled a MRI for me the next day. I had my MRI done on Wednesday and around 5 o'clock I received a phone call from the doctor saying that they saw an unusual spot on my upper back but they didn't get a very good picture of it. From what they could see their guess would be that it was Multiple Sclerosis, aka MS. I thought oh wow great news!! The doctor tole me that I would need more testing done and they scheduled me for Friday. Two hours later Derek's family came up and we all went to the jumpy toys at the Rex Center (I absolutely LOVE them!!) Derek took Karter down the huge slide like he does every other time but this time.................Karter broke his leg!! We went to the ER and they splinted it and it was the longest night of our lives.

The sweet little thing would still smile for the camera even though he had a broken leg.

The next day we spent Thanksgiving with both of our families and had a great time. It was fun to see all of them and spend some time with all of them.

Friday came around and it was back to the hospital for more testing. This time my doctor called and confirmed that I did in fact have MS. It was such a crazy week! We feel truly blessed though that these were the results! We were so nervous for something that could have been so much more serious! I am going to see specialists this week and learn about this disease that I have! With all of the hard times past it really has been a wonderful week! We have experienced so much love and support from all of those around us! Thank You! We will keep you posted.

First trip to the dentist / Halloween

I will try to catch up on everything that I haven't posted yet. For Halloween Kannon was a pirate and Karter was a chicken. Kannon had a blast this year and it was so fun to see him get so excited at each house. However, I think his favorite part about Halloween was carving "Punkmins" anyone that would do it with him he took them up on the offer he loved it!! I know this is really ridiculous, but I have never carved my own pumpkin that I can ever remember so Kannon and I did one together.

They really didn't want their pictures taken if you can tell by the look on their faces!!

Last week we took the boys to the dentist. Yes, we even took Karter. The Dentist recommended they come when they have their 1st tooth or by the time they turn one. Karter has 6 teeth so we took him too. It was a waist of money on Karter's end, but Kannon on the other hand........he had 3 cavities. He is getting them filled next week, I'm not sure how it will all go but the 1st visit went okay so I'm crossing my fingers.

I almost forgot....... Karter is CRAWLING!! It has taken him so long but now that he can move he is EVERYWHERE!!! He is loving being mobile and I was loving it for the 1st day or so. He is so much happier now that he can follow Kannon around. They just follow each other around getting into all sorts of trouble unloading every cupboard in the house! Karter has to be doing everything that Kannon does or he throws a HUGE fit just like his older brother!! I wonder how that works? For example........

I love this picture, he is waiving hi to the camera.

We finally moved Kannon over to a "big boy bed." We decided it was time after Karter fell off of his queen size bed!! Karter sleeps in the crib now and Kannon is in this Toddler bed. It was about time!! I'm sure I've missed some stuff, but this is all the exciting things I can think of!
