A good fathers day for me too

So we went to Rudies on Sunday for brunch. It is a local seafood place that has outdoor seeting on giant swinging tables. It was a good lunch and then we went to an outdoor shop and found some good deals and then went home and went to the beach. Ti was a lot of fun. Yesterday (on Tuesday) I went surfing since the waves were so nice. I caught a couple of good ones and then played with the girls. I ended the beach trip by warming in the sun with Moriah while everyone else went home and got ready for supper. It was good. We had a hockey game last night and we lost. I did not play as well as I wanted, which is frustrating for me. So I am going to get some practice time in before the next game. We were playing the best team in the league and started by skating only 4. So I do not think it would of made a difference. But I still do not like to lose.

Happy Fathers Day Dad

Happy Fathers Day Dad

If you were to ask me what makes my Dad such a great Dad I would not

pinpoint a specific instance. It is not one thing he did or did not

do for us kids, but rather it was the consistent investment not of

money, but his time. He spent time with us kids and we learned from

that time a confidence in who we are, an understanding of who our

Heavenly Father is and a love for Him. As in many things in life,

he taught us that the day to day little things add up. From my

perspective, the love he invested continues to be returned to him ten-

fold. Thanks Dad, I love you. Dean.

Another win

So last night at the hockey game I had a large crowd. The grandparents and Marilyn and Dad all came to watch the hockey game. It was a good game and we were tied with under 2 minutes to go, and then we scored to win 6-5. One of the other teams players was really good and had a ROCKET of a slap shot. I stopped one of them with my chest and even though I was wearing a chest protector, I have a nice bruise. The best part was that I had a group of people cheering for our team (we never have anybody even watch) and that Grandpa Del was talking smack against the other team. I think he may have been trying to start a fight.....

Well I was finally able to pull a fish out of the back bay on a red

and white streamer. I believe this is a gar, and as you can see from

the picutre, it could probably take a chunk out of daisy dog...
