He's a climber
Baxter has learned to climb the stairs...watch out! Gates have been installed. Now we just need to teach him how to get down safely. Oh what fun it is to have an active little boy. LOL
New Fashion Trend
I'm beginning to see why they make pajamas so fitted. For the last few mornings, I've been going down to get Baxter for the day and he has been modelling his new 'off the shoulder' fashion. Too funny!

Our Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
Baxter and I made a trip to the pumpkin patch with our "mom group". Baxter had fun checking out the animals, posing next to the pumpkins and hanging out with his buddies.

SNOW!!!
Oct 12th - We woke up this morning to a beautiful snow ~ Can you believe it?!?! Of course we had to start our day by giving Baxter his first sled ride in the white stuff. What fun! Luckily, the forecast for the rest of the week is low 70s and sunny so our Indian Summer isn't over yet....thank goodness!
Go Falcons!
This past weekend, we made a trip to Colorado Springs for the Air Force Academy vs. Colorado State University football game. (My Dad was an AFA graduate.) We did some pre-game tailgating with friends before heading into the stadium for the game. Before kickoff, there were cadets parachuting onto the field and even a fighter jet fly over. What a thrill! Unfortunately, the jets and cheering crowds proved to be a bit much for Baxter so we headed back out to the car at half time to enjoy a quieter game experience. GO FALCONS!!!

Bax shows off his new Hawkeye gear
Baxter had fun cheering on the Hawkeyes & meeting some new Outing Club friends while wearing his new Iowa Hawkeye outfit from Grandma and Grandpa Koch.
The fun continues at Clear Lake!
After our weekend in Dewey Beach, DE...and a Virginia Tech football game in MD...and a visit to Minneapolis...we were lucky enough to spend a few days with Grandma and Grandpa Koch in Clear Lake, Iowa. Baxter had a great time taking walks on the beach, dining out, playing on the swings with Pop and laughing with Grandma and Grandpa.

Sitting up on his own!
When Patty Campbell came to meet Baxter, he showed off by sitting up on his own for the first time. Quite a thrill for us all!
Minneapolis Visit with Campbells
My birthday celebration continued in Minneapolis...
The Campbells treated us to a fabulous evening at Benihana, and my friend Kristen and her son William were also able to join us. The food was amazing, and Baxter enjoyed watching shrimp being thrown into the air by our chef.
Good times!

Hokie Fan
While we attended the Virginia Tech vs. Boise State football game, Baxter spent some quality time with Grandma and Grandpa in his Hokie attire. Too bad Tech lost...
