New Interests
In the last month Baxter has begun to walk along furniture and with the help of his new walker. He also enjoys playing instruments (drums, xylophone, recorder) and dancing with Elmo.

Baxter's First Birthday
We can hardly believe our little man is already one year old. To celebrate, we threw Baxter a fire truck themed party with family and a few friends. He really enjoyed his first cupcake, and the sugar rush that followed....although it kept Mom and Dad up!

* If he cralws to the bill - he'll be business-minded.

During the party, we lined up a beer, a book and a dollar bill to see to which one Baxter would crawl. They say...
* If he crawls to the beer - he'll be fun loving. * If he crawls to the book - he'll be an intellectual.
* If he cralws to the bill - he'll be business-minded.
(I hope he'll be all of these!)

Fun in the snow
During our trip to Steamboat in January, we had plenty of time to get outdoors and play in the snow. We took walks in the Chariot (wherever the trail allowed the wheels to turn!) and even took a ride on Baxter's new sled. What fun!
