Blessed Easter

Hello. Here today on this Good Friday of Easter Holy week praising the LORD for His perfect gift to us...salvation through Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection three days later.

Romans 5:28: "But GOD demonstrates His own love for us in this; while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

My card today is quite simple. The beautiful daffodils are from Stamp Simply's He Lives clear stamp set, die cut with their He Lives Daffodil die. The beautiful sentiment is also a part of the He Lives stamp set.

I began by stamping the daffodil image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored it with Copic Sketch Markers. As mentioned above, the image was then die cut with the Daffodil die.

I popped up the daffodil with dimensional tape onto the white oval, die cut with a Spellbinder Classic oval die. The sentiment from the He Lives stamp set was stamped directly onto the oval with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.

The beautiful decorator paper is from my stash. I layered vellum into the layers as well. It is subtle, yet adds a pretty touch. Love that.

This card measures 4 x 6 inches, and is fairly flat for mailing.

Joy and Peace-- Romans 15:13

Hello! I have a quick and easy make for you today using few supplies. The sentiment is from Stamp Simply's Wonder of Christmas Sentiment stamp set. I was looking through my stamps searching for a Bible verse which speaks of trust, and thought this one was most appropriate for the card that I needed. It's a lovely Christmas stamp set, but as in this case, can also work throughout the year.

I began the card by stenciling the watercolor paper top panel with Tim Holtz Layering Flourish stencil. I used Ranger Distress Speckled Egg ink, then spattered the design with Ranger Distress Oxide Speckled Egg spray ink.

The Romans 15:13 verse was stamped directly onto the panel with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.

Blue cardstock with distressed edges is among the layers for added color and texture. This card measures 4.75" square.

The Lord Will Watch Over...

Hello! I'm here with a quick post to share my card for today's Friends in Faith Instagram Hop.

My card features Stamp Simply's Eucalyptus Silhouettes stamps (dies also available!) along with a sentiment from Stamp Simply's A Man of Knowledge stamp set.

The eucalyptus stems are stamped with two different Ranger Distress inks on a white background panel. I also stamped and die cut a couple of stems, but decided not to use them on the card. The Man of Knowledge sentiment was stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, then die cut with a Stamp Simply Fishtail Sentiment Banner die.

A grosgrain ribbon acts as a border for extra interest on this simple to make and mail card.

Happy Springtime Bunny

Today's card features a pretty milk chocolate colored bunny with a wish for a Happy Easter. Stamp Simply's Easter is for Jesus stamp and die sets are the focus on this card. Easter is not about bunnies and eggs for me, but about Jesus Christ's death on the cross and resurrection. So let's call this a springtime bunny.

I stamped the bunny with Memento Tuxedo ink, then colored it with Copic Sketch Markers. I then die cut it with the die.

The background is layers of festive spring papers by Echo Park--Welcome Easter. I'm uncertain if it is still available anywhere.

The Happy Easter sentiment from the Easter is for Jesus stamp set is stamped directly onto the layered background with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. A border of pink gingham ribbon adds extra interest.

Grace

Hello and Welcome! I have a card that is filled with dimension and focuses on God's Grace this week. It features Stamp Simply's Grace stamp set along with their Crosses die set. Here are the details...

I began with a base covered with Craft Consortium Tell the Bees decorator paper. The Bible die is an old Spellbinder Labels Seven die, cut out three times and layered to resemble a book. I inked the edges with Delicata Copper ink to mimic gilded pages. I stamped the verse from the Grace stamp set directly onto the page with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.

The other side of the Bible has a cross from the Stamp Simply Crosses die set, cut from Craft Consortium Scorched Wood Textured decorator paper. I cut an additional cross from cardstock and glued the two together to give it extra heft. A piece of grosgrain ribbon acts as a Bible book mark.

The dimension is hard to see in the photos...the Bible is adhered with glue down the center seam to attach it to the background, but popped up with pop dots on the edges so that the pages are lifted up.

Praying for You Daisy

Hello! I have a quick clean and simple card for you today featuring a card that I made for today's My Favorite Hop on Instagram.

We were to choose a card to case from either 2026 or 2025's lineup of My Favorite Hop designs. You can see my card along with the card that I cased at #myfavoritehop2026.

Here are the details: the bloom is Simon Says Stamp Tattered Daisy die, watercolored with Daniel Smith watercolors. The textured border panel is Spellbinder's Woven Lattice Texture die. The sentiment is from Stamp Simply's Blessings/Beatitudes Set Two stamp set, stamped with Archival Pebble Beach ink.

Fun to make and easy to mail.

Taste and See that the LORD is Good

Hi once again on this sunny Friday. As mentioned in my earlier post I will be participating in a couple of Instagram Hops...today is the Friends in Faith Hop at Instagram: Our focus is on John 6:35.

My card is built with products from Stamp Simply. I've used their Blessings/Beatitudes Set One for the Bible verse, along with their Autumn Blessings stamp and die sets for the wheat sheaf.

The stamping is done with Archival Pebble Beach ink onto a rustic cream cardstock. The decorator paper is Craft Consortium's Ink Drop Monochrome. I used a Spellbinder Narrow Oval die to cut the sentiment panel.
