Eve's First Time In The Ocean

Ever since Eve was born many friends and family asked me when I was going to put Eve in the ocean. Call me an over protective mom (I'd like to say wise mom) I was taking the doctor's recommendation of 6 months. Because at 6 months you can then put sun screen on a baby. On tuesday when Mark and I went to Hukilau beach for a few minutes, Mark said "honey I have an idea, what if we use the umbrella and cover Eve the whole time she is on the sand?" and I said "why not". So the following clip is Eve's first time in contact with the ocean from the sand at 3 1/2 months in daddy's arms. Enjoy:)
P.S. If the clip doesn't work you can view it by clicking on my favorite links which is located at the bottom right of this page. Its under (Eve at Hukilau Beach)

Finally A Schedule

Eve has finally gotten on a schedule. She usually goes to bed around 8pm and wakes up about 3am. The good is that she gets straight to business. When she's done eating she quickly goes back to bed and then wakes up at 7am. It's so nice! She took her first bubble bath with mommy today. Usually she cries when she takes a bath but this time she was pretty calm. Mark and I have a blast being parents. We feel like it's an adventure because we are always discovering something new. Life is wonderful!
