It's hard to begin a post about Christmas and how extremely blessed I feel. I feel overwhelmed, I feel rich, I feel happy, I feel at peace, I feel complete, I feel absolutely wonderful. Someday soon I'll go in detail as to why but as for now Merry Christmas! I hope you had fun with your families and drew closer to Christ.

Happy Birthday Asenath
Your birth landed on a unique day 10-10-10 and it was indeed so special. One of the happiest days of my life. You bring so much joy into our lives. Your sisters adore you and you are indeed cherished by your family. You just turned 1 and Ijust can't believe how fast time has gone by. You can say mama, dada, ball & baby. You totally outgrown your infant carseat you look like Shack in there. I can't believe i'm still nursing you but you wouldnt let me stop even if i tried. You're a great eater and so stinken cute. You attack your sisters when they take away your toys, yah we need to work on that one. Soon that won't be so cute anymore. You love to dance and shake your shoulders. When you get happy you often clap your hands. I'm so grateful that God placed you in our lives. You have indeed made it better! We love you so much, happy birthday!

Graduation
First time Mark seen Asenath after 2 1/2 months. We were all filled with emotion. Mark hates these glasses, but it's a requirement that he wears the army issued ones, which are huge and durable:)
Basic training graduation ceremony
This past week being in Georgia was magical. I discovered once again that home is where ever my husband is. Even though it was my first time going to Georgia it felt like home. I'm so proud of him. He worked really hard, sacrificed much, and excelled in many ways that surprised himself. He is now at Officer Candidate School and I won't see him till December. God speed.

I Did It
I ran 5 miles today! I did my old college route in Mililani. Crazy to think about 12 years ago I played ball for BYU-Hawaii and during the last 3-4 weeks of summer I would train before our season started so I wouldnt die of exhaustion. It brought a lot of fond memories as I passed my elementary school, highschool and not so fond memories passing an old boyfriends house and streets where I sold cookies for summer league softball. 5 miles wouldn't be anything for most people I guess but for me it's a big deal! Huge accomplishment and I'm so proud of myself. Now I'm ready to eat a carton of ice cream. Just kidding;)

Miracles
"Miracles were and are a response to faith, and its best encouragement. They were never wrought without prayer, felt need, and faith. It is important to notice the different names by which miracles are described. They are called signs, as being visible tokens of an invisible power; they are powers or mighty works, because they are the acts of One who is almighty; they are simply works, or the natural results of the Messiah’s presence among men; they are wonders, marvels, because of the effect produced on those who saw them." (Bible dictionary)
These past few weeks I've experienced them and I'm so grateful. I believe in miracles!

Ear Piercings
This is what you do when your husband isn't here to say no. I got all 3 girls ears pierced. I was only planning on doing Eve because she really wanted it but when we got there Esther was asking as well. I was shocked with Eve's response. I thought for sure she would freak out all she said was "ow" and then she let us do the other ear with out any hesitation. Esther on the other hand after getting poked on one ear refused to let us poke her other ear. So I had to be firm with her because I wasn't about to let her only have one piercing that would look ridiculous. Asenath on the other hand screamed the loudest. It hurt me more then it hurt them, I think. Oh well they look pretty and I love it. They love it to. They can't stop talking about their earrings.
When Nancy and I were young and we got our ears pierced we ran out of the mall and cried like little sissies not these girls.

Preschool
This picture was taken on Monday Eve's first day of school. She has been so happy this past week. I was struggling in my mind if I should send her because I always wanted to be the one to teach my children and prepare them for kindergarten but after much thought and prayer this was the best decision for my little Eve. For the longest time she has been asking me to send her to school so she can hold my hand and I can walk her to school. Her cousins and the friends that she made all go to school and she is just so eager to learn, just like her parents. I had some tender feelings dropping her off. We both did great, no tears were shed just smiles.

Malia's Wedding
My cousin Malia got married and it was beautiful
We all got dolled up
Eve & Esther were flower girls along with their cousins
My cousins and I trying to get our girls ready. What a fun moment
My little Esther was precious. When they came out they were supposed walk down the aisle but instead they went straight to me and the crowd was encouraging them to go down the aisle. It was cute.
Nancy was the MC and she did a good job
During their ceremony I had tender feelings because another family is being created and the fact that Malia was my closest cousin growing up.
Eve and her cousins
Their was live salsa music and it was awesome. I could not stop shaking my hips. Mark would have had a blast. He loves salsa music and is quite a dancer. I had to steal my papi from my mama a few times.
Eve was hilarious. She was all over the dance floor being crazy. I love this girl! The older she gets the more fun she is to be around.

So Silly
Eve has been quiet for 5 minutes which is unheard of unless she is sleeping, so I ask "Eve what are you doing?" She then replies "I'm taking the snow out of Conrad's butt". Conrad is the name of her favorite teddy bear.

Kaaawa Trail 5k run
I ran the Kaaawa trail run this past Saturday morning. It was absolutely gorgeous! I love trail runs! I was running in this beautiful valley passing tropical fruit and cows. I hadn't run in ages so I knew if I had stopped to pull up my sock or adjust it I wouldn't start up again. As a result when I finished the race my sock was all bloody and I was in pain. Even though it still hurts today, I'm glad I didn't stop.
These were just some of the views

Karaoke
For my mother's 64th birthday we took her out for some karaoke. We rented a room ordered some food and sang our little hearts out. I discovered that my whole family has musical talent except me. It was fun!
They sound great together!
I never heard my father or my brother ever sing before and they are really good. We all want to do this again when Mark gets home. Mark would just love to do this. Oh I miss him.We had fun:)

Chocolate Milk
Oh Asenath you are a big beautiful healthy girl. You don't take pacifiers and you hate bottles. You actually never drink from them except at this moment when mommy was desperate for rest so I gave you chocolate milk. Hey if this works I just might make this a habit, but with our track record you put things in your mouth for 2 seconds and want mommy again.
