The Denny Gang

so of course its football season and of course Nate and I 100% support LHS!!! so the last two friday nights we've visited our old stomping grounds of Layton High to cheer on the football team, and might i say a lot of cheering we did! Both games were awesome but especially last nights. Layton played the dreaded Northridge and they are ranked #2 in the state... but dont you even worry... LANCERS WIN!!!!!!!

so... wonderful news!!!! Me and Nate have been playing on a co-ed soccer team with a bunch of friends. it is so fun. Nate plays goalie and rocks at it! we have had some pretty heated games that have gotten out of control the last few weeks, for example last week nate got a red card after the game was over!! silly boy! and the game before that was called like 10 minutes early due to some slapping, tackeling and fighting but last night was our last game of the season and it was a good friendly game and Ladies and Gentlemen the best news of the night... I SCORED!!! finally i got a goal. i was pretty pumped. when we got in the car Nate said i did so good that he'd buy me an ice cream cone! WOO WOO! but i owe my sweet goal to Nick for the awesome set up. so thanks nick!

well what a week. Its finally Friday and I have the day off and can catch up on life. This week we had some amazing experiances and amazing accomplishments and and no sleep. first off, last Saturday we got a call from the Salt Lake Mission office informing us that my brother Jesse is being evacuated from bolivia because of the Political unrest. I guess its pretty bad, on Saturday 35 people were killed and then on Monday another 18. pretty scarry! but Jesse was evacuated and is now serving in the Peru east mission. he was told that he will probably not be returning to Bolivia any time soon. but Wednesday we got a call from him and he is happy, healthy and safe. he is serving his heart out and loves the people! we sure miss him but wouldnt want him any where else! well second letter of business, our little puppy Maverick can now go up and down the stairs! WITHOUT WHINNING TOO!!!! he is such a funny dog! some mornings a wanna put him up for sale. like last night he woke up at 3:00 am barking. so i get up took him to the bathroom. well long story short... i was up from 3-5 am with a barking dog. oh and nate sleeps through it all! LUCKY GUY! i decided i should have had a baby instead, atleast with a baby you can take them places and put a diaper on them :) so thats where our no sleep week comes into play! what a week but thank goodness its friday!!
