we are still here

well i kind of fell of the wagon with my posting, but we are back on track and ready to go. lately we have been enjoying the beautiful weather and wishing it was here to stay. i have been training for a few runs coming up this summer so that means the kids tag along in the jogging stroller, i had to bribe coleman at first but now he enjoys it.

Nate is busy busy busy, whats new though right? between work and church calling we are lucky to have a free night with him.

our kiddos are growing up way to fast! coleman is always asking why? and what? to EVERYTHING!! he loves to learn and is so curious! lately he loves to help make dinner and wants to do everything the adults do. i guess its a first child thing?

Peyton is now sitting and rolling from stomach to back and back to stomach. she loves to talk and will goo and gah for hours! she is a happy little girl.

we are all alive and well and i have TONS of pictures to catch up on... next time.

we have teeth!

sweet Peyton officially has a tooth!! she has been kinda slobbery and a little fussy... well we should have guessed that a tooth was on its way! yay for teeth. we have also started rice cereal in her bottle for 2 feedings a day, she LOVES it.

too tired to make it to bed

yes this is exactly what it looks like, coleman is sleeping on the stairs! him and Nate got up at 6 a.m saturday morning and went ice fishing. this picture was taken at 4 in the afternoon... too tired to even walk up one stair. he slept like that for a good half hour until i was worried his legs would fall asleep or cramp so i moved him and he didn't even think about waking up. he was exhausted, i guess that what fun fishing does to ya!

Peyton and her cousin Palmer are only 3 days apart! i can't wait till they start interacting and playing, for now they just sit on blankets and we make them hold hands :)

BUSTED!!!!

On Saturday me and Nate were sitting in the family room having a conversation and realized that it was awfully quiet and coleman had gone upstairs... Nate asked"where is Coleman?" i replied with "oh he plays in his room with his trains and cars , i just check on him every couple of minutes" nate responded with "are you sure?" i said "i'll go check just incase." I didn't even make it up the stairs and this is what i found.....
yes those are sprinkles!

don't worry the rest got thrown away, they were covered in spit! YUM!!

GO GIANTS!!!

well its no secret that we are huge sports fans and if you know us you also know we love the giants!! so we couldn't pass up the oppertunity to get all decked out for the Super Bowl! we couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome of the game! we love our giants!!!!

from the mouth of babes











my little Coleman says the most hilarious things, this little man has quite the personality! he keeps me on my toes and always laughing or sometimes wishing i could laugh. so here are some comments from the mouth of my little babe Coleman

these are just a few of the MANY MANY quotes i get from my little monster on a daily basis. he sure is developing a little personality and mind of his own! he loves to play pretend. while we drive in the car he talks on his pretend phone, usually he's talking to my sister that is away in Virginia at school or to my mom who he calls Dewy.
He for sure has his wild side but Coleman is also a big sweetheart! He loves saying prayers and blesses his mom, dad, peyton and coleman. He loves his little sister and loves to make her smile and laugh, even if that means sitting on her or laying across her stomach (he is gonna give me a heart attack). keep cracking us up Coleman.

happy girl!






i can't get over how fast my sweet Peyton is growing up. she is such a delight, always smiling and happy! her little smile will melt your heart. she is already 4 moths. where does the time go? she just grins ear to ear when i go in her room in the morning, she certainly doesn't take after her mom in that regard. I'm no morning delight!

bowling




Well we finally gave into Coleman begging us to take him bowling, he was entertained for about the first 2 frames and then lost attention pretty fast. I think it was a lot our fault though cuz we took him to Fat Cats and so there is an arcade there and thats all he wanted to do. we had to beg him to finish bowling with us. I'm guessing it'll be a while until Coleman asks to bowl again, or it'll be a while until we take him bowling again. i think we'll just play in arcade next time, we had a blast though! its pretty sad when your two year old almost beats you. i scored an 88 and coleman got an 82 and Nate whooped our butts by bowling a 129.

The BIG 25...and other happenings






Well i'm officially old!!! I turned 25 last week, it was a hard birthday to swallow! I can't believe I'm 25! Nate did a good job of spoiling me, cuz if you know me at all you know I LOVE my birthday and LOVE celebrating it and want everyone also to LOVE it too. I got chocolate chip french toast in bed, presents and lots of hugs and kisses from Nate, Peyton and Coleman. It was a good day but still hard to believe i'm half way to 50 and 5 years till 30!! YIKES!!!!

Nate is busy busy busy, but yet of course he finds time to ice fish and play basketball to keep him sane! he goes to bed late and wakes up before the sun. his days are filled with inspecting sewers and helping his young men! he is such a good Daddy, coleman wakes up every morning asking where his daddy is... (good for a moms self esteem, JUST KIDDING)

Coleman is getting so big! he is learning more anymore everyday. He says the cutest things and just makes me laugh! when it snowed last saturday Nate and Coleman were out building a snowman, coleman decided to taste snow for the first time... he took a big handful and and shoved it in his mouth and said "mmmm... yummy snow tastes like marshmallows!!" Me and Nate laughed so hard! he is so cute! Since Peyton was born he wakes up and comes into our room and sneaks into our bed, so this past week we've put an end to it.. we now have a sleeping bag on the floor of our bedroom that he's allowed to sleep in but no more mommy and daddy's bed... its made for some long nights filled with tears (not only form Coleman)

Peyton is such a happy camper! she is growing so fast! she is trying to sit up even though she hasn't even rolled over yet! she loves to see whats going on and hates when you hold her while sitting down. she wants to be up and moving. It is so fun having a little girl, especially a smiley happy little thing. She loves to be swaddled in a blanket and has recently become a HUGE binky fan, especially to sleep. She has the cutest giggle and is very very ticklish just like Coleman.

New years resolution!!!

Wow!!! I can't believe its 2012!! Where does the time go? Seems like just yesterday we were all freaking out about Y2K!! Well for my new years resolution this year I have decided to do one journal entry a week, and I've decided to use my blog to do that!
