Eric and Eva finally had their little girl late last night, after being 11 days over the due date. They named her Evelyn Dixie Timothy, and Taylor and I got to go snuggle her this morning. Taylor loves babies so much, and was so excited!! Then when Taylor got home from school, mom, dad, and Crystal, came to our house and we all headed back down to the hospital, so Cohen could see her. She's adorable and we are so glad she's here and healthy!

Taylor begged for pancakes for dinner tonight. So, I made them. Then, she insisted that we need to have a picnic. She was so adamant about it, that I gave in and we had a pancake picnic outside. The kids loved it, and they both ate dinner really well.

The kids had their six month checkup at the dentist today. Taylor did so great. She gets a little nervous after the cleaning part, when the dentist is checking her teeth, but other than that, she does pretty well. Cohen on the other hand, screams and cries the entire time, but we have him lie his body down on my lap with his head in the dentists lap, and we get the job done. Both kids teeth look great, no cavities.

We celebrated Easter this morning. The kids looked darling in their new Spring church clothes, and they were even more adorable holding hands while I snapped some quick pictures of them before we headed out the door to church. When we came home, we ended up just eating leftovers for lunch, because I was feeling pretty awful. I felt bad for the rest of the family that we didn't have a nice Easter dinner, but I suppose that's not what Easter is about anyway. The kids loved hunting for eggs in the backyard later in the afternoon, and kept having us toss them throughout the yard over and over and over agin, so they could keep picking them up. I am so thankful for the Savior and his sacrifice for us so that I can have the opportunity to be with this cute little family of mine forever.

I have been so sick lately, as I always am when I am pregnant, so I've been spending a lot of time laying down on my bed.  Cohen is such a good sport about it and just hangs out on the bed next to me. Usually watching Netflix or movies on the macbook while I nap. I sure love this little buddy of mine, and how he always wants to be right by me.

Every night around 6:30 pm, we put the kids in the bath. Afterward, we get them in their pajamas, and then let them play with quiet toys in their rooms for 10-15 minutes, before putting them in bed. Taylor usually chooses to look at books on her bed, and Cohen loves to play with his animals or guys. I sure loved freshly bathed babies in pajamas.

Taylor LOVES to swing.  She seriously we swing all.day.long if we would let her. I am so glad that we have a swing set for her to enjoy.

This morning we decided to take the kids to the zoo, since we are out for Spring Break. Kendall came with us and we met Derek in SL at The Training Table for lunch, and then headed to the zoo. The kids had a blast and loved seeing all the animals. They especially loved the elephants. We were so sad that otters exhibit was closed for renovation, and the bears weren't out while we there either. But, we still had a good time.  We only stayed a little over an hour. It started to get hot, and Taylor had reached her limit and started having melt downs. 

The kids were both out of school this week for Spring Break. Monday Taylor kept begging for Pizza and a picnic. So I picked up a pizza at the drive-thru at Little Caesars, and set up a blanket for them to eat on outside when we got home. They both LOVED it. Cohen is so funny and wears Derek's hat everywhere these days. It's too cute!


Wednesday morning, the kids and I headed out to Roosevelt to kill some time over Spring Break. The kids had fun playing at mom's with Brandon, Parker, and Loganne. The next day we went over to Grandpa and Grandma Roberts' house for an hour or so. They kids loved spending time there. Grandma always spoils them with treats, and Grandpa was outside working on a leak in the water line, and the kids loved spending time out there with him looking at the flowers and lawn ornaments and with a neighbor's cat. We had dinner with my family and then headed back home. One night of not sleeping well is about all this pregnant lady can handle right now.

Derek's mom and dad came out to spend conference weekend with us, and we had a lot of fun spending time with them. Friday night, we met up with them in Orem at Chili's for dinner. The kids had fun playing with grandpa and grandma and hanging out in grandpa's truck afterward.

They watched the Saturday morning session with Derek's siblings in Provo, and then came up to our house for the afternoon session. Derek and his dad had to leave before it was over to head up to SLC for the Priesthood session. Taylor and Cohen had a blast hanging out with their grandma while Sandi was kind enough to let me take a nap for an hour or so. It was heaven.

Sunday morning, everyone came up to our house. It was crazy, but it was fun being with everyone. Cohen was good as long as he had all his stuffed animals to play with.

Willis can't handle being without me for two seconds. He's always snuggled up against me whenever I lie down to rest.

Taylor put these bubbles on her face during bath time and said, "I'm Santa! Ho ho ho!!"

Finally got to meet my good friend Leslie in person this weekend while she was in town visiting her family. So much fun!

Taylor wakes up super early every morning. We have a child lock on her door, so she can't get out. This is usually how I find her room each morning when I go let her out. I'll take cleaning that up every day if it means I get to sleep an extra hour.
