The kids had a great time playing in their pool and new splash pad this weekend! This was Davis' 1st time to splash around in something other than the bathtub and she loved it. Greyson enjoyed having his sister to play with him and pour water on. We hope all of you got to enjoy a long relaxing holiday weekend like we did.

We headed to Austin again this weekend. This time we went to see our sweet friends Jonathan, Alissa & Bennett Greene. Jonathan graduated on Saturday with his MBA from t.u. (he was 1st an Aggie)! To celebrate his hard work and his 30th bday they had a big celebration party at the Lost Pine Hyatt Resort in Bastrop. The Moffitts were there with us too so we had a fun night with friends, dancing, and a delicious dinner. We are so proud of you Jonathan-thanks for letting us celebrate with you!!
This morning we went to breakfast at one of our favorite Austin spots, The Omlettry. Great Austin "dive" for breakfast with the most delicious gingerbread pancakes and Omelets of course. We then headed to the Roundrock outlet mall for a little shopping-the kids were troopers :) Another great weekend with friends and most importantly my sweet kids and hubby.
Today was a big day for Daivs! She is 10 months old today and she was dedicated at church. It was truly a special day to celebrate her and to be reminded what a blessing she is from the Lord.
As she hits the 10 month mark, some of her highlights are...
-She is one of the happiest babies I have ever encountered, she is such a joy to be around
-She loves being in her big brothers presence
-She'll eat anything you put in front of her
-She has such a lively personality and makes us laugh all the time
-I am convinced she will be walking sooner than later
-She is a daredevil
-She is definitely a "daddy's girl"
-She is working on her 7th tooth
-She has eyes and a smile that just melt you-just see below for yourself :)
We felt honored today to dedicate Davis to the Lord! We know she has been entrusted to us to raise up for the Glory of the Lord!! We were fortunate to have all of our family here with us to celebrate this special day. We love you baby girl.

Grant & LaurenWe have had a really fun Friday with Sito (J's mom). It attempts to make our backyard look pretty for the summer, Greyson, Kay & I planted flowers this morning. Greyson had a great time playing in the dirt and watering the flowers-he is a quite the good little helper. Davis enjoyed sitting in her excersaucer watching all the fun. After naps we headed out for some ice cream. We'll have more about our time with Sito in upcoming blogs.
We had such a fun weekend visiting our friends the Hicks in Austin!!
Saturday we enjoyed lunch at The Oasis. It was a beautiful day to be outside and enjoy the views of the lake while we ate. We headed to the park that afternoon and got to see more of the beautiful development Clay & Maryann live in. The 4 of us grilled Saturday night after the kids went to bed and enjoyed some uninterrupted adult conversation :)
Sunday we went to Ski Shores (also on the lake) for lunch. We had the most delicious hamburger, Loren & Greyson "fished", and we just enjoyed another beautiful day outside.
Greyson & Loren had a great time playing with each other, while Davis & Camryn enjoyed looking at each other and seeing who could screech the loudest.
It is crazy to me that Maryann and I have know each other since we were 3 years old. Now we are watching each others kids grow-up. How blessed I feel that after 27 years we are still friends!! Thanks for a great weekend Hicks Family!!
