Memories...like the corner of my mind...misty.........

The Memory Post
I found this on Becky's blog who found it onAubrey's blog, and I loved the idea.

The Memory Post

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is the most memorable for you.

2. Next, if you feel so inclined, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you...!

3. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. ☺ And please do this on your page, too, so we can all share in the fun times together. :)

I love Comments!!! (The funnier, the better! Go ahead and humiliate me!)

Fun in the sun...

Skinny, Skinny, Skinny!!!!!!

Our kids LOVE the water!!
After our funeral morning, we relaxed in the afternoon at the splash pad at Hil's condo. Allie and Ashtyn had a great time playing together! Nate and Jake were in their own world playing some army game in the water! We enjoyed watching them play...

Jeannie Earl (Ashtyn's mom) helped out at the luncheon after the funeral, she is so funny! I caught her with the camera and told her to wait until I posted it on my blog...HAHAHA!! NICE!

Born Sleeping

On July 17, 2008 my sweet cousin Hilary, who I have always considered to be more of a really tall little sister, gave birth to twin sons who were stillborn. Landon Scott and Luke Trevor Georgell had passed away at 21 weeks. I have never had to personally experience this kind of heart wrenching tragedy in my life and I can honestly say that I am eternally grateful that I hopefully never will. My one big fear in this life is to lose one of my darling children or my sweet husband!
I was very fortunate to be able to share this incredible, spiritual, personal time with my cousin and her wonderful husband Trevor. I will always remember the peace and sadness that filled every ones hearts as the boys were born and placed in their father's arms.

What an unforgettable experience! It was so sad but I wanted to be there to help in ANY way I could. Hilary and Trevor allowed me to photograph the precious moments that they shared with their infant sons bodies...they received what they had been sent here for and were taken back home to our Father In Heaven. I know that it must not comfort Trevor and Hilary very much right now, but I am certain that in the months to come, as they try again for another child, that the comfort of the spirit and knowledge of the Gospel will give them the strength they need to live righteously and return home to raise their sons.
Their little casket was so sweet. Watching Trevor carry it to it's resting place in the earth was so final and cold. I know that they both found some comfort in knowing that they are being buried next to Hilary's paternal grandparents. They were gracious enough to invite me to the funeral home to photograph Trevor dressing the boys in the tiny white burial gowns that my mom had made for them. He wrapped them in a soft little blue fleece blanket and we went to the cemetery where both families and numerous friends greeted them holding blue and white balloons. After a short graveside service which included Hilary reciting a poem, everyone released the 100+ balloons into the air and we all stood watching them float away.

I love Trevor and Hilary dearly and I am so blessed to have them as neighbors and ward members! They are both wonderful examples to me and I am sure that their boys are in Heaven just as proud as can be...they are able to be part of one of the best families ever! Their mommy and daddy adore them. I am always amazed at the two of them...even in the most deep, dark despair, they can always manage to make one another smile! They both still have a sense of humor and I know that Hilary will remain the funniest person I know and truly one of my very best friends!

I love you guys and I would do anything for you! Thank you so much for sharing your entire pregnancy with me!!! I am so excited for you to be able to continue on with your family! Whoever comes next is blessed with 2 big brother angels!!! This amazing opportunity has definitely strengthened my testimony of eternal families just having you in my life strengthens me! Thanks for your honesty and sincerity! I love you!

Fathers

I never had a minute over Father's day to pay tribute to the Fathers in my life...so I just want to take a second and make sure that you know how much I love all of them...starting with the one I live with!

I put a few pictures in that really remind me of what a fun husband and father Brian really is! He is a loyal

U of U fan and a tropical fish hobbyist (aka fish geek). He loves to be outside, especially with his kids! He enjoys long walks on the beach at sunset and showtunes....just teasin! He does like the beach, but I have never really asked him about the sunset part! He loves to travel. He tries to plan fun trips to places that other families aren't crammed into! We always have a great time and they are always tailored perfectly to our family.

Brian is a school counselor, so he is always up for educating his children. Nate has always eaten it all up! He knows his dad is an intelligent man and he trusts every word Brian speaks! He's athletic and shares the passion of sports with his boys! He makes sure that Jake gets a little time on the couch watching a game or two whenever he can! You can always find Brian at the park throwing passes to Jake or at soccer practice with Nate, giving him pointers.

He is very creative and incredibly thoughtful...he'll try just about anything, especially if it is anything to do with scaring me...I hate heights...he loves them!

He's cute and sweet and funny!

and obviously very patient (anyone who knows anything about me or Allie can believe that).

We love our dad! He's a pretty wonderful man! We adore that he puts everything he is into us! He makes our lives better to be in and we are grateful to have him in our lives! We love you Bri! Thans for loving us!

He homes by it honestly, he has a pretty great dad too! Kerry is a wonderful grandpa and really tries to be thoughtful with our children! He has raised some pretty neat children and I respect and love him very much!
My own dad is also an awesome and amazing person! He is the most generous man I have ever met! He would quite litterally give anyone the shirt off of his back! I am thankful that my sons have such great examples of fatherhood around them...I hope they can live by the examples they have been given!

Saratoga Splash

We had a great time at the Saratoga Splash concert and fireworks. This year it was here in our neighborhood at harvest park. They had a full day of festivities complete with a free climbing wall and the "world record breaking water fight". They ended the day with Ryan Shupe and The Rubber Band and a pretty descent fireworks display. We had a great time hanging out with some of our neighbors. Nate's best friend is Mathhew Elmer. They live just around the block from us, he has a great family! We are lucky to have such a good friend for our son! We really could't pick any better!!!
Mom and Allie playing in the park...waiting for daddy to come back with those snow cones!

Jakester was spazzin out to the music with his free glow sticks (thanks Sister Johnson) while Allie was dancing and singing with the other Ally and Samantha

Brian was sick of me snapping pictures of him...but I did it any way! He's cute even when he's yelling at me to put the camera down!!!

CORN DOGS????? I love that song!

Nate at the top on the hardest level...animal!

OOOPS! I was trying to put Matthew, but that looks like Nate's buddy Grayson and his brother Gavin! Hey Schmaltz guys! Way to climb!

Nate and Matthew kicking back for the fireworks...

What a fun night! We didn't even get stuck in a traffic jam after...even better!

Here is the slide show from our trip with the rest of our good time!!!

We always love our summer trip. We get to spend a lot of GREAT quality time together! This time we enjoyed having Madi along with us. It was amazing how comfortable we all felt with her. She is full of fun and loves to talk. She is the second of five in her family so she is great with kids. She does a lot of babysitting for us, so our kids are very used to having her around. Thanks to Madi, Brian and I were able to see our first ever, Tuacahn production. We saw Le Mis and were very impressed!! It was for for our kids to all have a friend along with the Earl kids.
