We decided to try to curb Allie's pet obsession by getting a cat. POOR CAT!!!!We probably should have gotten a dog, but I think cats are less work. Pretty sure he thinks we HATE him because she is CONSTANTLY chasing him and trying to carry him yelling "Here Kitty!!". He RUNS and HIDES really fast when he hears her coming most of the time.
He is a SWEET cat and loves to follow Brian around! He likes to sleep on Brian's feet. It still kind of freaks us out that there is an animal roaming around our house on his own! I have enjoyed watching how much the boys like to play with him too. Jake isn't an animal fan. The cat is less intimidating to him than a dog would be. I can see why they say animals are good for kids. He relieves anxiety by letting them pet him...he loves to lay under our table and play with drinking straws!! We like him a lot and will hopefully adjust to keeping fur off of our furniture soon......
He's 11 months old and de-clawed so we can keep him inside.Now we have 2 Leopard Geckos, a Russian tortoise, @50 fish in 4 aquariums, AND a cat....
we might be charging admission to our zoo in the NEAR future!!!
