Well, just a quick update. We are off to the hospital to have baby Zeke. My water broke last night at 11:00pm and we're headed off this morning at 8:21 to get the show on the road.

Thanks for praying!

Fall Days

Last weekend (over a week ago) we had a bit of a rainy, misty day! We all love those kinds of days! So, Eric decided to go out and pull the remainder of our weeds before winter really set in. (It is easiest to pull weeds when the ground is wet.) The kiddos went out to help and they all looked so cute in their fall weed-pulling outfits, I thought I would share the picture with you.

And this is just a beautiful fall picture Eric took from our deck. I love fall (along with all the rest of the seasons). But it is just beautiful!

Eric's quote of the day!

There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, “Thy will be done,” and those to whom God says, in the end, “Thy will be done.” C.S. Lewis (The Great Divorce)

Evening fun!

Our evening play times have been quite fun. Here is a little sample of the activities that might occur in one evening (these occured last night).

Hide and Seek in the dark has been the current game of choice. The kiddos get flashlights and play hide and seek with Daddy. Daddy comes roaring out of the darkness and scares the bejeebers out of everyone! It is hilarious! It was actually pitch black in the room at the time of this picture - I just used the flash so you could get a small glimpse into the excitement! Here is Jojos face after an accident with his firetruck. He decided to ride it from the very top of the McEachran's driveway. Suprised at how fast he ended up going at the bottom, he decided to bail. He has not yet learned the subtle nuances of bailing gracefully. So he ended up bailing onto his face and spinning around on the side which is all scraped up! Quite the spill and it left some good road rash. Mommy was quite glad that that was all the damage that was done!!!! His black eye had pretty much just cleared up...

Photo ops!

An example of Lizzy's photography. She is actually pretty good at taking pictures!

An example of Jojo's photography. This is his mouth. Apparently he thinks he is the most important subject to be photographed!

Good Quote for the Day

“Of all the tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely expressed for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent busybodies.” C.S. Lewis

Nails and Pumpkins

Here are some more pics for the blog. I had to add some - they are just too cute! The first set are of Lizzy getting her nails done for my baby shower and the finished product. Jojo couldn't be left out of the modeling pics, so notice his lovely nails as well!

Then we have some pumpkin patch pics. We LOVE going to the pumpkin patch. It is always so fun! It is a beautiful place! Fall colors make for great pictures!

Halloween

So, I realized I have a blog! I started it in April, but forgot about it... So, here it is November 2nd and I thought I ought to start blogging (again).

Here is the gang for Halloween. Sam the woodsman, Lizzy the Lion, Jojo the chick and Gabe the knight. They had a great time trick or treating in the cul de sac next door. We had a bit of a time frame because we were headed to a party for dinner, but the very sweet people in the "other village" love the kids and love to chat. We were a little late for the dinner party, but had a great time anyways!

Here's another one

OK, so that was so fun that I need to do another one really quick. Just a couple more cute pics.

Here is Lizzy and her new big kid bike!

And here is Joje helping Daddy wash the car!

That's all for now. Have a good day!

New Blog

So, I have decided to do a blog to keep everyone updated on what we are up to. Mainly, so you can see the pictures and hear stories I might forget to tell you. I think that it will be fun - as long as I remember to update it with stories and pictures every once in a while...

These pictures are from yesterday (monday). After having a fever for 3 days straight, Joje finally started feeling better. Monday morning he broke out into a rash and got very grumpy - a textbook case of roseola. When I say grumpy, I mean grumpy! I never knew such contrariness was possible. Anyways, he did get a little more cheerful as the day wore on. And by evening he had decided to ham it up.

He had put on Eric's hat and I thought it looked quite cute, so I pulled out the camera for a few pics. As soon as Joje saw the camera he gave me a big cheesy grin. I didn't realize he knew that he should smile for the camera, so I wasn't sure if that was really what he was doing. However, he proceded to do cheesy grins for the camera for approx 25 pictures, much to the delight of his mom, dad and big sis. We all had a good laugh. Here are a few of his grins for all to enjoy!

Hope you enjoyed the pics. Let us know what you think of the blog!
