6 months old!

Sweet Maggie is 6 months old! Time is going by way too fast! At 6 months...
-she has one tooth
-she can sit up
-says "dada"
-she has had cereal and several veggies
-sleeps through the night (most nights) :)
-she takes 3 naps
-she is the happiest little girl ever!
-she still loves her swaddle at night...oh well :)

We love you precious girl!!!

Who's Who???

Lots of people have asked if Molly and Maggie look alike. I didn't realize how much they look alike until I looked back at old pictures if Molly. They look soooo much like each other to me!!! See what you think! I did my best to find similar pictures of the girls at the same age. The top picture will be Molly and then I will put Maggie right below.

Here they are at bath time. They were both around 4 months old.

I am not exactly sure of their age in this next picture, but I think they look identical to each other!

Sweet, sleeping beauties...

Learning to hold up their heads, with the same crazy hair! Molly was about 2 months old and Maggie was 4 months old. Clearly, Molly hadn't lost her hair yet.

I better start labeling these pictures so I can remember who's who years from now when I look back at my babies! :)

Snow boots...in June?

When Molly woke up from her nap today, she wanted to wear her mittens and hat. After those were on, she said "boots mommy". She does realize that it is 98 degrees outside doesn't she? I asked her if she wanted to take her mittens off to drink her milk and she looked at me like that is the craziest question I have ever asked her. It makes me smile to watch her pick out her outfits, even if it is snow boots in June.

Does she get credit?

We moved Molly to her twin bed last week. She did great! She has been falling asleep so much faster. I am sure that it is much cozier than her crib! We have had our fair share of telling her to stay in bed, and she usually gets right back in. We went in to wake her up to get ready for church, and this is what we found when we opened the door...

So, does she get credit for this one? We don't know what happened. Did she fall and then just stay asleep? Did she get up and play and then decide that she wasn't done sleeping? Oh well! I can't wait to see where she ends up by tomorrow morning!

This is how she slept on the first night. She will get the hang of it eventually! :)

Smiley!

Maggie is one smiley girl!! Actually, every time that the camera flashes, it makes her smile. It is so funny! Makes for good pictures! Here are a few of my favorites. I know they all look the same to you, but they are all special to me.

3 months old!

My blogging app wasn't working for a few weeks and i was afraid to delete it and start over because I didn't want to lose my posts. I finally deleted it and started again. So, here it goes...

Little sister Maggie is 3 months old!!! I can not believe it either! I am already pulling down her 3-6 month tub out of the attic! She is growing sooo fast! I forgot how sad it was to pack up the newborn clothes. Okay, maybe it is the postpartum hormones. Can i still use that excuse? I am so excited for what is ahead of us though! Here are a few quick pics that I took of Maggie at 3 months!
