DIY 2018

After 5 years of DIY Cultures we’re taking a break in 2018. We would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has supported, contributed and attended the fair, DIY Cultures has grown to be bigger than any of us expected and is the result of the efforts, encouragement and support of so many people. There will be no festival this spring but we would like to continue the dialogue through creating an online resource mapping the people, projects and campaigns involved over the past 5 editions. Where are they now?
Helena is exploring the use of computational arts methodologies in her current practice. She recently undertook a research trip to Transmediale festival in Berlin.
Hamja is touring his book Shy Radicals and investigating the role of zines in the Hillsborough Justice campaign.
Sofia is working as an artist alongside editing OOMK and co-running Rabbits Road Press.
