CHRISTMAS JAMMIES
Last night I was SOOOO cold I decided to wear my red jammies. This reminded me what happened a few Christmases ago. I know, I know. Your might reconsider looking at this picture because we are all pretty sexy. OK. Why I am bloggin this I'll never know. Just to embarrass MUself I guess. A few years ago we bought EVERYONE some RED jammies for Christmas. But the only ones that would wear them..........are in the picture. And don't focus on my double chin. Sure wish there was at least one gym in the area. Eh heh. So guess what we did with the "over buying"? We each have a pair in the trailer and I have one in the house. Oh I LOVE my red jammies.

YW CHRISTMAS CRAFT
A FEW HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE WARD CHRISTMAS PARTY
OK I don't know what's happening but this blogging thing is messed up. My pictures are words and I can't move them so here goes......
This of course is our Cookie with the Bishop. Santa was too busy this year so Bishop "No Bawlin" (known to our family and getting more known throughout the ward) stepped in to hand out goodies.
Sister Christensen's primary class plus Kaitlin entertained us with some music using chimes. Neat.
Here is Jason trying to sneak in and pretend that he is one of the kids. I don't think he fooled the Bishop, do you?
And here is Lyle Olsen. He is back home from school, gonna work for awhile then leave on his mission.
Sarah and Chelsea thinking they are going to get a treat too. Hmm. I hope I don't ever grow up either.
Holly, Todd and Katie Patterson enjoying the evening.
All the primary children were invited on stage to sing some Christmas Songs.
Cookie and Brianna really got into the spirit. Cookie was dancin' away.

This is the latest question........
WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR CHRISTMAS????
Chelsea tells me...... you and Dad are hard to buy for. OK. Here is a clue to what we have been looking at. A fun Christmas present for our front room. Any questions?

Mutual Activity
Ok. Last night we had our combined YM/YW Activity. We had a Christmas Party. Of course we started off by reading the birth of Christ out of Luke and talked about the real meaning of Christmas and why we celebrate.
Then we had a Christmas Party. We had tons of fun. I really had a hard time deciding which pictures to use.
This first thing we did was to have everyone line up according to their birthdays. (Just months) NO ONE was allowed to talk or mouth anything. The did pretty good. Then each person got a piece of paper and we drew a picture without looking. Then they were graded on how well they did.
Then we divided up into four groups. Each group got a bag with the following: 1 pair of panty hose (don't worry they were new), 14 balloons, two pieces of ribbon and a bow. They were givin 10 minutes to make the best reindeer antlers they could using all the articles. This is the progress and results.

We then played "The Candy Bar Game". I guess the reindeer likes their antlers so well they wore then the rest of the night.
The evening ended too soon. The last game was with our white elephant/$1 gift using the "Left/Right" game. Here are the 'Bling Brothers'.

Cute Story for the Christmas Season
It was the day after Christmas at a church in San Francisco. The pastor of the church was looking over the crèche when he noticed that the baby Jesus was missing from among the figures. He hurried outside and saw a little boy with a red wagon, and in the wagon was the figure of the little infant Jesus. So he walked up to the boy and said, "Well, where did you get your passenger, my fine friend?" The little boy replied, "I got Him at church." "And why did you take Him?" The boy explained, "Well, about a week before Christmas I prayed to the little Lord Jesus and I told Him if He would bring me a red wagon for Christmas I would give Him a ride around the block in it."
Lets be grateful for the reason we celebrate this wonderful time of the year. And no matter the gifts that are left under our tree we all need to give thanks for our many blessings, our health, our safety. We should pray for those that are less fortunate and pray for opportunities that we can help. Remember, there is always someone worse of than ourselves. Let's be thankful for what we have.

GRADUATION
Ok. I'm gonna toot my own horn. Last Thursday I went to a graduation. Yep!! It was mine. I graduated from Bridgerland. It kind of makes me want to go back to more school. Can you believe I said that? I hated school when I was younger. Now I crave the knowledge. Especially because I can't remember anything.........what was I saying? Oh ya. I took some business classes. Because I could only go part time it took me just over a year. I wish I would have taken some more classes but.................I graduated!!!! Yea!!! Of course because it was all about me....I left the camera in the car. We had some friends there supporting their daughter and they took my picture. They were going to email me the pic but I don't have it yet so here is a post without a pic.

I'M THANKFUL FOR....Day 5
1. My computer. How could I play and keep in touch?
2. My friends. What would we do without friends?
3. My neighbors. They are the greatest non-judgers.

YW Christmas Party sort of
Last night at mutual we practiced a song that we will be singing for the Ward Christmas Party next Friday night. Then we all brought a while elephant for the "Left, Right" game. The bishop showed up so we made him play too. When the gifts were opened and the paper and tinsel was out they decided to dress up the bishop. (I think they liked this part more than anything else) Here are a couple of pictures of him then we sent him off to a Stake Meeting. Ha ha, he still had remnants of sparklies on him. We were cleaning up for quite a bit after he left.
UPDATE...
Last Saturday morning started at 7:30 am. The YW leaders went around and picked up as many girls as we could. (We did notify the parents prior to) We were able to drag 13 young women out of bed for our "Surprise Breakfast". It was a lot of fun. We had more girls there than we thought would come.
Notice most of them are covered in their blankets. Oh it was cozy by the fire!!!
These are our newest Beehives. Welcome Riley and Kelsey!!
A couple of our leaders couldn't make it and one had to leave early. But here is: Jolene, Julie and Holly. Thanks tons for all your help!! This activity was a great success!!

Ladies Driving
I saw this on another blog and I just had to add it here. Ah ha ha ha. Reminds me of the show Fried Green Tomatoes when the scene says - "Face it, I'm older and I have more insurance."
