The Dodd Squad

Last weekend was part 1 of our Christmas with all of my family. My mom & Skip now have 10 grandchildren with our baby boy on the way to make 11. We had everyone at our house and it was a lot of fun to have everyone together. A little hectic but totally worth it!

Addie and Logan couldn't wait to have all of their cousins over...

Finally...present time!! Logan had been waiting, not so patiently, for this moment...

Addie could not stop grinning when she opened her Princess Vanity! There could not be a more perfect gift for this little princess right now! Thanks Uncle Dave for putting this together for us! It has brought countless smiles to this little princess' face...

Here is Logan with one of his toys that he has played with non-stop. This was a great gift for him and Daddy but I have questioned it as I find the balls from it in the Christmas tree!! Oh well...it has brought countless smiles to his face as well! He also got the Operation Game and that has been a blast to play with him! Brings back lots of my very own childhood memories...now I know why I didn't become a surgeon!

And here is my newest niece, Savannah Mae, who was only 5 days old in this picture. We were so happy that they made it, especially our little Addie!!!!

Last Thursday night (yes, this post is a week late!) big, beautiful snowflakes started falling! We all got excited and started doing the snow dance for a snow day. We cut a bunch of snowflakes and started dropping them from our steps and throwing them around everywhere. This is something I always did when I was growing up and it always seemed to work, so I think!!! It was a lot of fun anyways!!

Guess what...it didn't fail us because WE GOT A SNOW DAY...

You know what that means...NO SCHOOL AND LOTS OF FUN!!!

Oh...and I got to nap that afternoon when Addie napped. IT WAS HEAVEN!! Now I am on Christmas break so we will hold off on snow dancing until about the middle of January...wouldn't that be nice!!!

Yesterday was David's 30th birthday!! We had a great day. The kids and I made him a pancake breakfast and we even made him his own pancake with a BIG 30 on it...he loved it! We celebrated with a nice lunch at his parent's house and the traditional ice cream cake...YUM, YUM!
