Tagged

I was tagged by my friend Claire. I'm supposed to post the 6th picture from my 6th folder and tell about it. I'm also supposed to then tag 6 more blogger friends. I don't know if I have 6 friends who haven't already been tagged but I'll do my best!

So here it is...

This is Addie having a scrumptious baby foold meal at around 7 months. I love this!!!! It's amazing how quickly I have forgotten her as a baby. This was a face she made often with that little tongue sticking out and the girl has always loved to eat!!!! Oh how she lights up our world with those big eyes and big smile that she always has on her face!!!
Now I tag...Jennifer, Kelly, Shannon (maybe this will bring her back to the blog world!!), Tonya (who has done the 4th but not the 6th), Matt & Jade, and I can't think of a 6th person that hasn't already been tagged. I tried!!

The Lipstick Girl

Can you guess where little miss Addie has been??

She found Mommy's purse and she found the lipstick...imagine that!! This reminds me of a post from the past, Looking Good .

At least she did a better job with the lipstick this time!!

It was just too cold...

to go to school today! Seriously...they cancelled school because of the FREEZING temperatures...brrrr!! We weren't complaining so we made it a pajama day and played and played...

Here they are in the awesome fort that their Daddy built. Yes, the couch is turned upside down with cushions and who knows what else stacked. This was awesome and they totally loved it!

I just had to share with you this funny girl with her shades on, sporting her princess heels and cozy jammies while "taking her baby shopping at Target"...

What a surprise to have the day off but what a wonderful day we had! Plus, we get a 4 day weekend now because Monday is MLK day...YIPEE!!

Christmas Pictures

We had a great Christmas! Of course, the kids were excited about all of their new toys and such but it has also been a great Christmas filled with a lot of family time! Here are some pictures from Christmas day. Again, please forgive the blurry, not so clear pictures as our camera broke the day before Christmas. Oh well, I'll share some of the best ones we got...

Christmas morning, showing off some of their new cool things from Santa and then some...
Logan's big present from Santa was a Wii. This was not only a great gift for Logan but for the family. We play it non-stop and have so much fun!! Addie's big present from Santa was her Princess Cruiser. Her face was priceless and she was the happiest little girl! Logan was even super excited for her when he saw it! He got a Hummer from Santa when he was 2 that is still running on a good day!

Now for our Christmas at Nana & Pop's house. Logan got one his favorite things...the Imaginext Fire Station and Fire Truck. He loves it...just like his Daddy!!
And here is Addie opening up her stocking from Nana & Pop. The one and only thing she asked Santa for was candy and you can see how happy it made her. She also got a trunk of princess dress-up clothes along with a nice set of 6 princess shoes. She could not have been any happier!!
**These next pictures were taken with our new camera we got the day after Christmas**
And here she is in one of her princess gowns. If she is at home, she is always running around like this and you can never lose her with those princess shoes clunking on the floor.
And here they are, playing in the Princess Cruiser. I went to take the picture and Logan tried to dive out, screaming "I can't have a picture in a Princess car!" Ha, I got it anyways!!

We have had our blog now for a year! It's been a lot of fun to look back at the pictures and what has gone on in our lives over the past year. I am looking forward to another year of blogging and all the great memories it will capture! Happy New Year!

Oh what fun...

Christmas has now come and gone but I have so many pictures. So, I thought I would post some pictures of some of the fun we have had this season! There was some sadness with this season as my camera broke right before Christmas with no time to hurry and get another one. So, if you see very blurry or faded pictures just know this is the best we could do. We resorted to David's cell phone or the video camera taking still digital shots. I tried very hard not to pout too much but this was a very tragic thing for me as I am such a picture freak. Oh well, I made the best of it and am happy to have the pictures we have!

Here is Logan's Kindergarten Christmas party at school. I snuck out of my class party to be with him and was so happy (almost cried) to find that he was making his Christmas Stocking for his soon to be baby brother that we have decided to name Sam. All of the other boys and girls were making their stocking with their name on it! Oh how I love this boy...

Watching the Franklin Christmas Parade and collecting lots of candy...

Here is our Christmas tree. Our tradition is to go cut it down but the tree farm we always go to had to take this year off. So, we tried another one and could not find a tree to our suiting. We decided to support a local boy scout troop this year and still had a great experience.

Now to the fun stuff...
Here are the kids making Gingerbread Houses...
and cookies for Santa...

and Rudolph cookies...

Here they are with their Gingerbread Houses...Do you notice how clear this picture is?? This picture was taken on New Year's Day (night really as they just got out of the bath) with our new camera that we got the day after Christmas on sale!!! The houses are missing a few pieces here and there...I won't say any names but there was a really cute little girl who couldn't keep her fingers away!!!

Oops...out of order but here is the final product from their Rudolph cookies...
Addie's cookies are on the bottom and they make me laugh as one of her cookies has 3 eyes and another one has 2 noses...too cute!!

I'm always very sad when Christmas is over! It is my favorite time of year and we had a lot of fun this year! I am already looking forward to next Christmas with a new brother and lots more fun...
It's back to school on Tuesday so let's start doing the snow dance!!!!!
