What I mean by 'relegation' is not the premier league relegation battle between Fulham,Birmingham and Reading. What I mean is I managed to do just enough to prevent myself from being retained for another in TARC. How scary is that?
My CGPA grade is still very poor despite doing well in the previous exam (main papers).Fortunately, the worst didn't happen.
Fulham escaped relegation by finishing 17th in the BPL table, level on points with 18th place Reading but went ahead on goal difference. My case, was somewhat similar.
I feel greatful that I'm given another chance by god and i will make up for my mistakes made in semester 1 and 2. I'm not sure if the changing environment at my hostel will help but I'm optimistic that I can start scoring 'A's.

"JAPAN-nising"
When I ask people what is the 1st thing that you think of when you hear the word JAPAN, normally people will say ' hot chicks, animation,drift or porn'. And I have been wondering why people are giving themselves names like Takagi,Yuki,Nakata,Amiko...bla bla bla. why ?
Frankly, I rather give myself Spanish names maybe like Carlos, Luiz, Fernando...
and who knows maybe these underachievers will win the EURO 2008?
I rather learn spanish because it is more popular internationally right? maybe I can score some senorita with it.
I'm just very curious of why Japanese culture is a trend here. I notice a lot of people being so obsessed with Japanese animation. Like my hostel roommate, he can watch jap cartoons for about 10 hours a day ! almost everyday !

Okay, learning another language is a good thing but why choose Japanese of all the languages in the world?
I'm sure most local 'banana' chinese will find the need to use mandrin more than japanese here.
I'm not saying that learning japanese is wrong but I just wanted to know why choose jap?

I mean what should I do? be an otaku? Asking me to watch jap anime is like asking a girl to watch football.
