Exam has not been good. Especially my resit papers. I'll have plenty to more to do than others next semester.
But for now, let's take a break from our busy lives and celebrate this once in a year event.
Just make sure no kids have their limps blown off by fireworks.

Yes,I Can !
Tomorrow will be the beginning of MY semester exam and an end to the semester. For those who have spend the 14 weeks preparing for this moment, they will have little to be worried of.
But for most people, who don't have the motivation to prepare from early and rather spend time playing games,checking out chicks on the net,trying to get laid and enjoying college life...bla bla bla Last minute work is the way to go ! and you'll have plenty to be worried of.
In my case, I have 2 papers tomorrow. One tough main paper and a resit paper. With approximately 15 hours left to go, reading and memorizing the 170 page book, prepare for resit subject from A to Z and get a pass out of the two subject. YES, I can !
After tomorrow's paper I'll have about 40 hours left to prepare for another main paper.Some say it's madness but I think I can get at least a pass out of it.YES, I think I can !
After that, I'll have 3 days to prepare for a resit accounts paper which I haven't done any preparation at all. This will be tough but I'll seek help and try my best to...
pass. Yes, I believe I can !
To all fellow TARCians, best of luck to all of you. Let's make the most of your remaining time and do well in your exams. It may seem impossible but through hard work, we can all pass with flying colors. YES WE CAN !
Lastly, when I'm feeling the stress, when everybody is studying and with time running out,I still can find time to get myself motivated by writing this post. YES,I CAN !

Talking And Listening
This afternoon I got 'talked at' when I'm not trying to listen and then I got wondering and wrote this post.
This is the question:if I'm being rude for not listening when people speak to me,is a person rude when he speaks to me when I'm not listening?
In other words, when I'm busy on something else and somebody distracts me by talking to me, is he/she being rude?
You see, I agree that when people are talking to you and you ignore, that's not polite. I admit sometimes I tend to pay more attention to the football match when I'm supposed to be listening.
But then, if its the other way around, I think it is as impolite.
I'm sure some of you have had a bad time watching football when someone sits beside you and talk,talk,and talk like he is John Dykes in an ESPN talk show. YOU know who I'm talking about. It is very,very annoying. Really.

What Is A New Year To You?
I saw a friend's personal message on msn saying 'new year means nothing to me'.And I'm sure the same goes to a few of my house mates which is why I almost missed New Year's once in a year atmosphere,fireworks,feeling,etc.
They rather spend time doing things like: Let's play and win our last DOTA game of the year ! and moments later, they are trying to win their 1st DOTA game of the year.Until they forgot to go new year's countdown. =.=" They say its fun but what a waste.
The annual January 1st New Year is arguably the most anticipated event in Malaysia. Christmas are mainly for Christians and for some apparently non-Christians to get themselves merry arrested at Gurney Drive.
Chinese New Year are mainly for Chinese and for some kids to have their limps blown off. Whereas New Year is an event for everybody and for more people to get arrested.
To some however it is different.
To some people it is just another public holiday,
some just wants the atmosphere and see the fireworks,(People like me)
some think it is a must to party on every 1st of January,
some see it as a time to make money,
some wants a gang bang,
and of course, some people just don't give a damn.
To me, new year means a fresh start to another year of life. It is the time I make new year's resolutions and to learn and not make past mistakes in order to improve myself to be better than last year.
Screaming 'HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!' and watching the fire works means starting a new year with happiness and a smile. My new year's eve was almost ruined. Luckily I found an alternative and ended up celebrating on a beach.
I hope you too had a good time and a great start to year 2009.

A look at year 2009
I will be 21 years old this year. Will be graduating from college and then further my studies at KL(most probably). It will be quite sad to leave my home town,to leave beloved Penang but who knows, KL might be better in another way.
But before I do that, I have made a few new year's resolution. Some say it is pointless because people barely achieve any of it by the end of the year. I want to prove them wrong.
1.Get organized. Need to be more disciplined in order to making better plans for things. Self-improvement resolution.
2.Graduate. I need to pass all my papers before I even think about going to KL.
3.Think. As in think more. I notice I'm underutilizing my brain.After all, our brains work on a 'use it or loose it' basis.
4.Birthday party. Yes,previous 2 birthday have been crap. I'll be 21 this year and am planning to throw a 'partey'~~~!
5.Learn how to cook a few new dish. Hopefully I can finally achieve this one.
6.Be physically fit. Didn't achieve the target I wanted last year. Will try harder.
Not as fit as Bruce Lee lah... siao meh?
7.Start saving money. Spending every cent of my part time job salary is just not the right way.
8.Do well in my studies. Its going to be tough to change but it can be done.
9.Go for a holiday with my family. Its been quite a while since we did that.
10.Be happier than I was in 2008.
That's 10 for me. How about you? I have yours. Hope 2009 will be better than 2008.
