Too much of a good thing...

Well, I am trying to decide if everyone has just moved over to facebook or if there are still some die hard bloggers. I have decided to leave my blog open for two more weeks. If you feel I should keep blogging, just leave a little note to let me know you follow my blog. If not, in two weeks, I will sadly click the delete this blog button I know that exists somewhere and just let this one go. I am on facebook often so you can always find me there. Thanks to those who once were as much into blogging as I was, but life has taken that next step into facebook. And yes, we just realize how much easier it is to jump on and see who has last left us a little note, or what new friends have found us that we have wanted to talk to for like ever. Well, here I am signing off for two weeks. Until then...

TIME FLIES!

I seriously cannot believe it has been this long since I wrote anything on my blog. My sister got me into facebook so we could keep in contact better, and now I just forget that I have a blog. Well, where to begin. Doug loves his job at Mullen Crane. He travels lots, but he likes what he is doing and that he gets to work with his brother Carl sometimes. Right now has been hard because the holidays are in full swing and he has actually been gone for 5 weeks to Texas, Kansas, and on his way to Montana. He will definitely be home for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but no other holidays are garunteed. We sure miss him. MaCady just got her first report card. She did well in all areas except in talking too much. She got an S- in that category. Haha She likes to talk all the time, i'm surprised she only got and S-. Brinlee just got her crib turned into a toddler bed. She wants to be a big girl soo bad. I'm not ready for that just yet. Anyways, that's about how life has been going these last few months. I will try to update later with some pictures. Happy holidays to all.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

I can't believe my baby is in Kindergarten. She rides the big bus and everything each afternoon. I was so nervous the first full day she had. I just knew that the bus was going to forget her or not know where to drop her off at. The last part did come true. They ended up dropping her off clear up at the corner like on your way to moms house. She looked so tiny running home behind that big old yellow bus. All in all, she loves it. She can't hardly wait for the bus to come and pick her up and she almost looks kinda sad when it drops her off to come home. The first set of pics are from the very first get to know the classroom day where you take them in and show them around and let them meet their teacher. We were only there for maybe half and hour. The next set of pics is of me and Doug taking her to her first day of school. She wouldn't let us come and pick her up, she wanted to ride the bus home. Then there are some of me Doug and Brin outside waiting for Cady to get off the bus. Brin saw the camera and kept saying cheese so I couln't resist a few of her. The last one is of her getting off the bus. It was the only pic I could get because they dropped her off too far away. I seriously waited outside for like 45 minutes to get that picture and this was all I got. I felt totally ripped off by the whole experience. HAHA Jk

Camping

My mom got a new trailer this year and we haven't really had the opportunity to go and test it out. We went for a family reunion, but it was short and it wasn't really like camping. So we took a drive out 8 mile and found a really nice spot and decided to go for the weekend. Doug was home and mom didn't have to work. The girls loved it. They were filthy from the time we pulled in to the time we pulled out. MaCady went fishing and caught 9 fish. They just recently planted a ton of fish up in the creek. We had a blast. Thanks mom and dad for letting us bum along. Here is a slide show of the pics for quick viewing because there are so many.

Allergies

MaCady loves to ride horses. We go as often as we can. She usually gets a little snuffly after wards, but we come home and she gets a dose of benadryl and then things are fine. We went and rode horses with the Call family and by the end of the process, MaCady was miserable. She was all itchy and she was in the back of the suburban just chillin. We all got in and ready to go home and I took a look in the back seat and this is what I saw. The picture is actually from when we got home and she had had a major dose of benadryl.

Needless to say, now when we even talk about going to ride horses, we pump her full of benadryl just to make sure that this doesn't happen.

Nothing Major to Report

I don't know about you, but when I get on my blog and see that I haven't posted for a very long time, I just sit back and try to think about any new or major events that have come up in my life. Well... I guess that's why there aren't any new posts from me lately. I babysit almost every day and that's about it. There is no fun way to show you how I clean my house daily or chase around my girls. I'm not constantly taking pictures of myself doing the dishes and folding the laundry. I'm positive you don't want to see how I am completely wiped out by the end of the day and literally fall into bed. This is the everyday role I play as the mom and I love it. I would not change one minute of my very chaotic day. I may not document every thank you, but I know somewhere deep down in their little hearts, my children are thankful for what I do for them. So, as of right now, there is nothing major to report. LOL Your's truly :)
