Olivia took a little spill yesterday and got quite the goose-egg on her head. It was so sad and she would not let ice anywhere near the thing so I felt like it just kept growing and growing. She didn't seem to mind that she had a large protrusion on her head.

BUSY!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my goodness...I am so exhausted all I want to do is get in a hot bath and go to bed....but not before I blog. My dad was here Monday and Tuesday as I wrote about and we got so much done. Then today I worked ALL day (7:45-5:30) in the office and CANNOT believe I used to do that. I came home just beat and missing my little girl like crazy. One of our girls quit and the other had already had vacation time scheduled so I was filling after a desperate plea from my boss. It was fun and felt like old times, but I decided I love being a stay-at-home mom. Here are some pics from good times with my dad. We got all the pictures hung in the whole house(we've only lived here 10 months!!), got the storage room organized and new shelves. The last pic is what my dad calls the "gadget box". Yes, you see it right, we have all our little items fully organized now. My dad was such a huge help and I was so glad to have the extra push to get this done. I am beat, I am hitting the bath..but not before I post a few cute pics from the last couple of days.

Busy Day, No Pics Yet
It has been a BUSY day. I seriously barely sat down at all. My dad arrived in town yesterday and he is like a whirlwind ball of energy to get stuff done. This morning he hadn't even eaten breakfast and he was already hammering our new shelves together he had brought down to organize our storage room. One LONG day later we are almost all organized and 3 closets are cleaned out. I will for sure post pictures when this is done. We went to the park with Subways for dinner and Olivia had so much fun wading in the fountain. I will post pictures tommorrow. Good night!!

Photo Shoot
And yet another new face........
Found this cool red fence and dragged Mike and Olivia out for a photo shoot last night. Mike was ok for about the first five minutes but then got ancy. I'll have to come back with just Olivia and I. She was loving the little apples on the ground. Today we had a very busy day and got lots of projects done around the house. My dad gets here tommorrow and we are excited to spend some time with him.

Cute pics
Just wanted to share some cute pics from lunch group today. Amy & Leah gave me a camera lesson and we had fun with our subjects as usual. Then Leah taught me some photoshop tricks and I had fun playing with the levels and colors and different things. Good night!

Mike
What can I say...I am one lucky woman. Mike is such a great dad and a great hubby. Always willing to help out even when he has come home from a long day at work. I love when I hear them giggling in the next room. Last night while Olivia was out on the balcony she accidentally dropped her orange off. She was surprised and quite disappointed that it rolled all the way off. Mike was out the door in a flash...so fast I couldn't quite believe it...to retrieve the orange for his little girl. He showed it to her from down below and then ran back up the stairs...you should have seen the look on her face. She was so thrilled her daddy rescued her orange for her. Thanks for loving your girls Mike.

A Couple Things.....
I dont' want to forget and am glad I've captured them on camera. First off is the way she has discovered her belly button and is always pulling out it (she has a slight outie). It is quite funny. She leans over like this until she can get a good view of it. The other thing is how she blows kisses. I love it. Every morning when Mike is gathering his keys and work things she starts waving bye bye and blowing kisses. It melts my heart. The last thing she does that cracks me up is she learned how to pull up the drain in the bathtub. She pulls it up then starts waving bye bye to the water.

Bathtime

Mike almost always bathes Olivia lately and they always have so much fun in there. Olivia loves her daddy and no one can make her laugh harder. I love that he gets off earlier now so they can enjoy each other for a couple of hours before she has to go to

Orange on the balcony
Last night Olivia was out on the balcony for probably an hour after dinner. There is a new family that moved in accross the way and they had cousins over it looked like and Olivia just sat and watched the kids in HEAVEN. Mike had given her the orange that had been zested for dinner and she was munching on it until I finally peeled it for her and then she devoured it. She was cracking us up with the juices just running down her and she kept trying to get close to us and make us part of her sticky mess. Needless to say she went right in the bathtub after this!

The Case of the Missing Cheese......
has been solved. Yesterday Olivia and I were cleaning out the fridge. She took a bag of shredded cheese out of the drawer and went to play. Awhile later I realized I hadn't seen the cheese in awhile. Thinking she dropped it off the balcony which is her new favorite thing to do, I went down there...no cheese. I put her down for her nap and continued to search the house...still no cheese. I looked in every hiding place I could think of, every cupboard, under the couches, behind pillows, garbage cans, EVERYWHERE...even went downstairs again to look under the balcony. I was searching through the bushes...(did find her pink golfball by the way)....but NO CHEESE! So after we got home from Seven Peaks and I put her down I decided to one more try look for the cheese. I was getting quite stressed at how it would smell if I could not find it in my house. I went down to look off the balcony and there was the bag of cheese..out in plain site. There is NO WAY I missed it...it appeared, but glad to have the case of the missing cheese solved.

My Helper
Olivia was fascinated with me cleaning the toilets and kept trying to help....so finally I let her. I showed her how to scrub the bowl and she actually did it. I thought after the fact that she should have been wearing her "I love Cleaning" apron so she actually cleaned it twice. Training her young.......
