Swimming

Katie and I took the kids swimming and it was so much fun. If you haven't been to the Lehi Legacy Rec Center....go! Liv is a little fish and could have swam all night. Katie..do these pictures not bring back horrible memories!! This was the night my pancreatitis started. I would rather die than go through that all again!

Someone thinks they are old enough to wear underwear and use the big boy potty. I think someone really just wants the candy bribe. We'll see.

Finger Painting

One Eyed Willie/Michael/Livi LOVED finger painting. She kept telling me over and over again she was making a big mess. I think she was appalled I was letting her do it. Those are my little potterybarn aprons I got at Down east for 50 cents and are PERFECT for crafting.

Really??

Photobucket

I asked her to go get ready the other day and THIS is how she came out. No pants, a winter hat that was too small and her "fancy" shoes. No..I'm sorry, I don't think that is the outfit I had laid out for you. Go try again my dear.

Newest Obsession

Ethan's latest obsession is trying on Livi's clothes. I (used to) fold at night and put piles in front of their doors. Not anymore because I found one to many piles like this. Should I be worried??

Heard Lately

Livi is just as horrible as I am with words to songs. Her renditions are always cracking me up.

Singing "Tomorrow" from Annie: Clears away the cobbler and the sorrow

Rudolf song—then one soggy Christmas eve

Cruella Brazil, Cruella Brazil..... (from 101 Dalmations)

We always clean up the kid rooms before bed. I came out of E's room and Liv was in the hallway. I said, "E's room, check." Livi looked up at me and said, "My room, no check."

Livi: Mom, did you know horses give high fives?

Livi: I like Chicken Noodle Soup, but not rooster, ok mom??

Tonight at the Doctor's office Ethan was given an Incredible Hulk sticker. He gave us all his scared face and said, "Grinch!"

I've been really bad at writing them down lately! Hopefully next time will be better.

A Joke

Getting a picture of the two of them is a joke...literally. Here is the proof:

The real Deal

Halloween was so much fun this year having two kids old enough to "get it" and that they didn't have to go to bed right on time. We went to Ann & Adam's for a shin dig with delicious food and delightful company. The kids all looked so cute. (Amy..I need that picture)

And this post would not be complete without the video of how absolutely thrilled Isaac was to have received a Handi-Snack. If I was him I would have looked at it and thought worthless. Isaac thought it was a million bucks. Seriously..he was so stoked.

Omniture Halloween

For those of you who remember this post last year will appreciate this post. We went to the Omniture Halloween Party again and it did not disappoint. Once again they rented midgets, but this time in the form of munchkins from the Wizard of Oz. The whole department was decked in Oz stuff and Olivia loved it, although she had no clue who the people were. Ethan, of course, would not even get out of Mike's arms for any photos whatsoever. Except the munchkins (??). Maybe he felt secure since they were his size.

Had to get a picture of her with Cosmo and some BYU cheerleaders. See...she did look alright after all. Those are miniskirts too!!

**Since this party, Olivia has had a thing with the Wizard of Oz. We finally watched the movie and last week we checked out the chapter book from the library. Every night we have an adventure in Oz.

Boo at the Zoo

We decided to hit up Boo at the Zoo this year to make some good use of our Zoo Membership. Apparently every other person in Utah decided to do the same thing since they had a record breaking turnout of 23,000 people. It was INSANE. It was a gorgeous day and my kids costumes were hot so they opted for different ones. Livi wanted to wear Katie's old BYU cheerleader costume and Ethan was a football player. Only problem is Katie was a midget and Livi is a giant. She was a hoochie mamma cheerleader in a miniskirt. She could have cared less though and was so cute yelling Go BYU to anyone who would listen. (We were deep in U of U territory)

Liv thought the penguins were stinky.

We have been to the zoo numerous times and everytime this Tiger has been really mellow just laying around. Not this day! He was pacing back and forth along the chainlink fence which we were right next to. After I got this picture where he was literally staring me down I started to not feel too safe and we booked it out of there. Luckily he stayed in his cage all day..no problems reported.

Pumpkin Patch Take Two

Livi's preschool had a field trip to the pumpkin patch and Ethan and I tagged along since it was so close to our house. It was a beautiful day and the kids had lots of fun going through the corn maze, seeing lots of animals and playing on the playground.

And the farmer later on that day. She carried this ear of corn around for days.

Twins Trip

For my birthday, Mike surprised me and got me a plane ticket home to see the twins. I was so excited. A trip by myself AND I got to see the babies. I flew in early on Thursday morning and had breakfast with Mairead and KC. I don't know why we didn't take a picture. (??) Afterwards I met up with Jocelyn, Megan and Kasie for lunch at Megan's house. We all had way to much fun laughing and reminiscing.

Then it was off to Wenatchee for 3 non stop days of babies, feedings, baths, entertaining Emmett, and being amazed at Laurel and Mark. Seriously...those two are AMAZING. I have a whole new respect for any parents of multiples. It is so much work. Isaac & Eva were perfect and I loved being with those two little miracles.

The drive back over was so beautiful with all the fall colors. I just kept snapping pictures out of my windows. Something about that place just makes me fall in love all over again when I visit. Seattle will ALWAYS be home for me.

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

I know most of you will just laugh about the fact I am posting about October in January. But that is how far behind I am!! This is for me and my posterity...so it will be blogged! I hope to catch up soon.

Photobucket
They were sooooo excited to go!
Photobucket
It was freezing out and once we got there all of us just basically wanted to leave. I sat them down for one photo and this is how well it went.

We finally gave in to the cold and decided to get pumpkins later. It was abnormally chilly that day!
