To say this kid loves Buzz is an understatement. He worships Buzz. So when I told him we were going to buzz his head he was excited. Until he realized that entailed tickly clippers and his head. He was not a fan. But we did it anyway. And he got nerds, happy boy again.
A perfect Eye Roll Livi has been an absolute joy to parent. Always easy going, mellow, happy and willing to try new things. This was until the dreaded Christmas program and gymnastics program of '08. Those of you who have heard me tell the stories know it was truly embarrassing. The child who had always been so easy to talk into doing ANYTHING developed stage fright. We're talking toungue hanging out, weird noises, stage fright. After the first two times I thought I was ready for preschool graduation. Nope, it was just as embarrassing. This time all Mike and I could do was laugh. And we did.....the whole time. Even through her ear covering, scowling, and eye rolls. After I went up to her and gave her a hug and said, "You did a great job!!" She looked at me like I was crazy and said, "Mom, I didn't even sing anything." I guess it's payback for all the times I wouldn't dance at the recitals.
Actually, looking back at the video, do you really blame her?? It was pretty loud and horrible.
