Grant & Grandpa

This kid sure loves his grandpa. He was his constant sidekick his whole visit with us. My dad was such a sport. He even watched all the kids and Mike and I had two dates in one week!!! He is such a great grandpa.

Happy Grant

This kid LIVES to be outside. If he ever hears the backdoor he books it on over as fast has he can. I can't wait for warmer weather!!!

Liv's Play

The whole first grade put on the play "The Little Engine That Could". They practiced for weeks, knew their parts so well, and put on quite the show.

The Three Amigos

Valentine's Day

Valentine's started off with some heart shaped french toast, heart shaped hair and excited kiddos to share valentines with their friends. Brilliant valentine's thanks to this lady.
We had our usual heart shaped pizza. It's nasty, but how can you break tradition??

If you are wondering what happens when you give a 12 month old a bowl of pudding...this is what happens. This is my mother's worst nightmare, huh mom??

He loved every second of it.

Days these two call each other their best friends are my most favorite kinds of days.

Seriously mom.....another picture!!!

Ethan's Par-tay

He has known for months he wanted a Star Wars birthday party.
So, that's what we had.
First we started off with some Jedi Training. We set up the basement into an obstacle course and let them run in circles.
They were awarded their light sabers before their final test. The faced Darth Vadar and beat him to the ground. I'll post some video after I download it. It was hilarious.
We destroyed the death star and loaded up our goodie bags.

I love having birthday parties for little kids. There is a permanent smile on their face all day long! We sure do love you our little Jedi.

Love these girls.....

Trouble

The Big 5

Since Mike and I get breakfast in bed on our special days, we thought it would be a fun tradition to serve the kids breakfast in bed for their birthday's. The kids think it is the greatest thing ever.

Ethan's request: Cinnamon Sugar muffins and eggs.

A birthday wouldn't be complete without a trip to the The Pizza Factory.
His favorite gift was by far the Magic Eight Ball.
The ask it the most ridiculous questions.
For Example: "Is this going to be a bummer summer?"
(Judy Moody) Mike and I rolled.
We sure love you Ethan!!

Happy 1st Birthday Grant

When I look at this picture it turns me to mush. Three......and all mine. I couldn't love these characters any more than I do. And when I think that my baby is one, I just can't believe it. We are so happy to have you in our family Granty-Poo.
We had a little ice cream party for Grant and it was perfect. There is nothing I love better than hanging out with family and our best friends.
Apparently Grant thinks so too!
What do you get for a boy who needs nothing?
A slinky of course!!

Ethan helped himself to a bowl of cereal while I was putting Grant down. I came out to this....
Yum

Trouble I tell you................

There are now rubber bands holding both of the cupboards closed.

My Karate Kid

Ethan rocked his first test and earned his orange belt.
I was a proud, proud mom.
And he was one proud orange belt.
