Dallin- 7 Months Old!

Dallin is now seven months old and what a difference one month can make! Last month his weight was a little low and he hadn't gotten the hang of eating solid foods- now, four weeks later he has gained one pound and is eating like a champ! His doctor is very happy with his rate of gain and we are liking his new little belly : ). We even swicthed him into his next size of clothes- isn't he such a cute little Prince Charming? Dallin is an expert sitter now. He loves to sit and play with toys. This is such a fun phase and it's nice that he loves to sit and play in one place : ). He does love to chew on toys and his fingers. No more new teeth yet, but he is teething away at them and his first two have come in really well. He is working on crawling though! He can scootch himself backwards pretty well and loves alternating between being just on his belly like this...

He is also so cute when he sits and waves his arms when he's happy (that's what this pic is showing). He also does it when he's upset, but it's so cute when he's just so happy.
What a little sweetheart we have! He has also recently rediscovered his little voice and loves to talk and sing when we talk or sing to him. I just love love love my little gentleman!

27 Weeks

27 weeks old today and what a difference one week makes! Dallin has really gotten the hang of eating this week and has been loving his sweet potatoes, squash and now even carrots! He is loving sitting up and playing and is learning to babble a little bit. He still loves to smile- here he is saying Peace!
Dallin was quite the little ham for his weekly picture- he loves peek-a-boo!

25 Weeks

Dallin is now 25 week old! This week his second tooth popped through and he's been just teething away. And we had to get a picture of Dallin with his favorite toy- his giraffe! And specifically those little green ears that he just loves to chew on : )
The girls took this picture today too- what a cute little guy we have!

24 Weeks

Dallin is 24 weeks old now! His tooth is coming in more and more and the second one that I thought was right behind seems to have changed its mind for the time being. Dallin is getting better at sitting up and loves being on his tummy and playing with toys. He still loves Peek-a-boo, especially from big sister Abbie and likes to sit up in the bath tub (with me holding him the whole time of course). He is getting good at blowing bubbles with his tongue and is slowly learning to eat his rice cereal. What a sweet little guy! We are taking care of my parent's old N64 and the girlies were playing Mario Party so nicely I had to sit Dallin up by them and get a pic. The funniest part? They call it 'the Wii' since that's what they normally get to play at Grandma and Grandpas! Doesn't Dallin look like he wants a controller too?

23 Weeks

Another week has come and gone- What's the big news for Dallin this week? He has his first tooth! His lower gums have been pretty bumpy and he's been teething for awhile, and then this Tuesday the first corner of his tooth popped out followed by the whole edge. That little tooth is sharp! He sadly bit his lip last night and it was instantly bleeding- and when he give him Orajel we've definitely felt that as well. He's been having a rough time with it and seems to only find comfort from sucking on his little thumb (the rascal!). He's still fending off the last of his cough too : (. Hopefully he'll be back to his normal self here soon.

22 Weeks = 5 Months Old

Dallin is now 22 weeks and five months old. What a big boy! This week he has really found his little voice- it is so fun to hear his little sounds and hear him chatter back to us. He's also doing better at sitting up. But, this week he has also gotten a little sick : (. He has a stuffy nose, cough and even a little fever. I took this pic this morning after his bath so he would be looking his best. Poor little guy! He's doing okay with his first cold and is extra cuddly, but we're hoping to get him healthy fast.
Look at those sweet cheeks and eyes. A little sick and sad, but still oh so cute : ).
We love you Dallin, dear!

21 Weeks

Dallin is a big 21 weeks old now. He is getting much better at sitting and still rolls all over the place. He is still pretty shy with the laughs, but very generous with his big smiles- and drool. Sometimes there is lots of drool : ).And here he is wearing the blue sweater that's from Camden, and Jonathon and Uncle Josh. Who knows who it will get passed to next...
I think he looks like a cute little garden gnome in it : ).

20 Weeks

20 weeks old on the 20th- and my bday : ). I took his weekly photo this morning and then quickly changed the little darling into...
...this! #28 for his Mommy : ). And what a busy week it's been. This week Dallin laughed for the first time! It was Sunday night and Tabby and us girls finally got Dallin laughing. It has yet to be repeated, but I know it's in there.
 And even when he's not laughing, Dallin has the biggest silent smiles. So sweet!

19 Weeks

19 weeks old and sooo close to laughing. Dallin gives us the biggest smiles, but there's just pure silence. Pretty soon he'll figure out those vocal cords to go with it : ). He's also really started to teeth and drool. He loves to chomp with those gums. He is also really enjoying being on his belly. Here is the cutie...

18 wks = 4 Months

Four months old! Dallin had his check up today (and some more immunizations) and he is doing great. He is almost the fourteen pounds that I guessed, weighing in officially at 13 lbs 14 oz and is 25 inches long. The doctor said he's getting ready to start some solid foods, but we're in no rush so he'll probably wait another almost two months for that. He has been rolling over even more and now chooses to sleep on his tummy. We lay him down for nap and bedtime on his back, and every time he will fuss for a few minutes while he rolls over and gets comfy and then he stays on his belly.
He's definitely grown into his 3-6 month clothing, and this is one of the outfits I've been so excited for him to wear. I want to go get his picture taken in it once he can sit up on his own, but here are a couple of him until then : ).

17 Weeks

**This is the first of 8 new posts to get us up to date. So keep scrolling to see what we've been up to : ).
17 weeks and almost 4 months old! I stepped on the scale without and then with Dallin today and it looks like he weighs about 14 pounds! He is getting bigger alright : ).
Dallin really is starting to love his tummy time. He is holding his head up so much more- and rolling over more too. What a big boy!
 We still haven't heard a first laugh yet, but there are lots of smiles, squeals, and he even seems like he is ticklish now.
Here's our little bear in his moose jammies snuggled up to his moose. We sure love this guy!

15 Weeks

Fifteen weeks already for our little guy! He is definitely putting on some chub on his arms and legs- and his cheeks do seem quite big with his little chin : ). He is still just as sweet as ever!
The smiles are hard to capture, but he's definitely got the inquisitive look down : ).
 Big sister still adore him! They just love on their baby Dallin : ).

14 Weeks

Our Dallin Dear is now 14 big weeks old. His newest trick is playing with his tongue- he loves to stick it out, sometimes a little and sometimes a lot. He also is getting more into his play mat and really has fun kicking and swatting at the different toys. He is such a happy content baby, but we have noticed that he really startles at loud noises. In fact, he was sound asleep in his carseat at Drew's family birthday dinner until the waiters all came over and sang- in the middle of the song he startled and screamed until they were done! And, he has really started to like sucking on his thumb. As Abbie says, "we can't have another finger-sucker, Dad" so we are trying to replace it with his pacifier, but it is pretty cute when he sneaks it in there : ). He's getting bigger bit by bit and I love how he looks like he's getting ready to do a cannonball in this pic. What a sweetheart!

13 Weeks = 3 Months Old

Today Dallin is 13 weeks and 3 months old. Wow! What a blessed three months we have had with him, (okay, my recovery in the beginning wasn't the greatest) but he has been such a joy! And, I'm so glad that he is still pretty tiny. I love soaking in all of his sweet 'babiness' and it is always so fun to see his big sisters just adore and play with him.
Here's our little gentleman- three months old!

I decided to try some of his new clothes (3-6 mo) now that he is 3 months to see how they fit. This sweater just made him look so grown up- what a big boy!
Okay, that's better- he's still kind of swimming in this one : )
