Mommy Time

We took these pictures yesterday and I was just looking through them and I can't believe how much Madison is growing. She just looks like her own little person, it's so fun to see her change.

Garden Time!

There are always pro's and con's to renting a house. Here are a few for us:

Pro: The house is on a 2-acre lot. Fun, right?

Con: There's no yard, just weeds.

Pro: We don't have to take care of it if we don't want to.

Con: It looks ugly and people don't think anyone lives here.

Pro: The landlords don't seem to care what we do with the yard at this point.

Pro: We have 2-acres of land to plant a garden! Yay!

Here is what the land starts out looking like:

Beautiful, no? Well, we used our neighbor's rototiller and cleared out the weeds and this is what we got:

Then, we actually put in a border and lifted the garden a bit and here's what we got:

Now, isn't THAT BEAUTIFUL?? We thought so! And Madison was helping us too. She is the cutest little gardener, and she seems to be having fun too.

Since planting our garden, things have actually started to grow! It's really a lot of fun to see our hard work coming to fruition. Hopefully we actually get something out of it!
