Wow, I can't believe it has been since June that I have posted on here. June was busy with Girls Camp, and then a release came from that, and I was called to the Primary Presidency in our ward, Dave was released in August from Stake Young Mens, and we have been called to to Full Time Service Missionaries to teach a "Strenghting Marriage" Class in Stake.
A long Hot Summer, not too much going on through the Summer, Colin worked as a Life Guard at Sunsplash, just tried to keep cool with lots of summing with the Grandbabies, then the end of August came I went with my good Friend Chelsea Lamb to Utah to Education week on the BYU campus, that was so fun!!! The next week Dave and I took Colin to BYU for his freshman orientaion and to start school. We spent a week staying with our Sisk Family and visiting so many others, it was a fun week of preparation for us as parents and for Colin.
Then came Sept. and Greg's return from his 2 year Mission, Happy Day!!! we are so glad to have him home, what an amazing spirit he carries with him and with his same great humor now is added such great depth and testimony. Truly no other way for him to have grown and be strenghtend, we are so grateful for his choice to love and serve the Lord. He has become a great man.
We feel so blessed to have our Meg and Jared, Chelsea and Isaac with Graham and Claire close by. M & J are busy in school and working with great plans for their futures of jobs and family. :)Jared was hired by the Town of Gilbert last fall and is persuing a degreee in chemistry, Meg is working on her pre rec's for Nursing. They have found it hard to go back to school, but both are doing so great with lots of homework and time studying they are pushing through it all.
C & I are growing their sweet family with another precious grandbaby due in March, those are great blessings. Our Grandbabies teach us and bring us more joy then we ever thought imaginable, so sweet and fun. Ise was hired by CES and is teaching seminary at DR highschool close by, we feel these great bleesing for both M&j and C&I to be employed at wonderful jobs in this economy.
Greg starts a new job this week for a plumbing company and has plans for school in Jan. Of course his course of study right now is finding young women to date. :) He is being very successful too :)
Colin is getting through his first semester and finding college life a challenge with lots of work and trying to find time for fun,,, but Im sure he is acomplishing both.
