Christmas Continued

We celebrated Christmas with Granna, Pop, Mawmaw, and Uncle Mark today.  Mark thought the horse needed sunglasses.  Taylor got a new doll.  Joshua got a new jersey.  And I got some fabulous Virginia Tech boots!

Merry Christmas!

Santa Bebe sent the boys their "big" gifts for Christmas morning, a basketball hoop and plasma car. We got the jumperoo out of the attic for Taylor.  They were ready to play right away.  Taylor started jumping immediately and was happy in the jumperoo the rest of Christmas morning.  Earlier this month when I was wrapping presents, Paxton took a roll of paper and tape into his room and wrapped a "present" for me. He wrote my name on the tag and everything. I knew it was something from his room but had no idea what.  It was a remote control car. I was very touched until he told me that he and Joshua needed it back.  Joshua had a special gift from preschool. It included a photo of his class as well as some hand made ornaments.  After nap time, Bryce presented the boys with a final Christmas surprise, Nerf guns.  We concluded the evening with a tour of the garden of lights.

Christmas Eve

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.  The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.  The children were nestled all snug in their beds while visions of sugarplums danced in their heads;  And Mamma in her kerchief and I in my cap had just settled down for a long winter's nap.  Only after some last minute wrapping and preparations.

Paxton is Five!

We had a birthday celebration today for Paxton's fifth birthday.  Paxton loves to wear pajamas and doesn't believe in getting dressed unless he is going somewhere. His pjs coordinated with the spiderman theme nicely.  Paxton's cake wasn't very impressive from the outside.  But was pretty neat on the inside.  Paxton was anxious to move to the present opening part of the party.  Can anyone guess who the VT jersey is from?

Six Months Old

At six months old Taylor can sit up for brief periods of time. She appears to be teething (chewing on everything) but no sign of teeth just yet. Her hair is growing and sticks straight up on the top of her head.   Six month stats: 27.75" long 18lbs 2oz

Preschool Program

Last night was Paxton and Joshua's preschool Christmas program. It was fun to see them perform on the same stage. We all got dressed in our "Christmas best" for the occasion.  Even Taylor got dressed up to watch (through her eyelids) her brothers perform.  Paxton held up his star nice and high when his class sang "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".  Pop came to see the boys sing.  A fun time was had by all.

Christmas in the Country

We celebrated an early Christmas with Bebe, David, and Uncle Blake, complete with a tree and stockings.  Becky and I gave each other the exact same sweater!  We also celebrated Paxton's birthday.  He got his very own camera.  He loves to take pictures. He will be guest blogging before we know it. I can't believe he is almost five!
