Dublin Family

Mawmaw, Granna, and Uncle Wade came to celebrate the day after Christmas.   We opened more presents and had another fun day of Christmas!

We to all dressed up for Christmas Eve candlelight service at church.   Back home, we did our traditional Christmas Eve readings.  Taylor needed to go to bed before the boys so they joined us while I read to her.  Then I read some more to them once they were bathed and ready for bed.  Bryce read the Christmas story from the Bible.

Paxton had his 6th birthday party at the aquarium on Saturday.  He chose an Angry Bird theme.   He was pretty excited for his friends to arrive.   First, they painted a craft.   Then they fed the birds.  After touring some exhibits, they got to pet a turtle and a hedgehog.   After cake the grand finale was Paxton feeding the otters while the rest of us observed from inside.   We opened presents after we got home and had a yummy dinner prepared by Granna who came with Pop and Mawmaw to babysit Taylor while we were at the party.  Paxton also got to celebrate his birthday at school.  Paxton is growing up into such a nice young man.  Bryce and I could not be more proud.

The boy's Christmas program was last night.  Taylor and I got dressed up for the occasion.  Granna came to see the boy's perform.  Paxton was the camel.   Joshua was a member of the chorus.  A fun time was had by all.

We met Bebe and David in North Carolina on Lake Gaston and Celebrated an early Christmas with them there over the weekend.  David's pocket knife came in handy during present opening time.  We took some pictures outside but Taylor was more interested in running than having her picture taken.  Back at the Lincoln log house, Joshua helped Bebe make gingerbread cookies and we decorated our first gingerbread house.  Bebe had a little birthday celebration for Paxton and he got a leap pad.
