Where to go, where to go???
This is the big question on every DuPree family member's mind. Devin interviewed in Maryland last weekend and today he received an email saying that he has been accepted! Yippy! Devin just got back yesterday from Texas for his interview at Texas Tech so now we're waiting to see if he got accepted. So, if it's a no-go from Texas... Look out Maryland... HERE WE COME!!!!

Happy New Year?
Hello everyone! Sorry that it's been so long since I've posted. What's been going on you ask? Well, I will tell you...
I'm really busy with school, most especially ballroom. I've got 19 credits this semester which is actually really difficult when you take into account that I'm also working 20 hours a week. Life is busy but it's totally good! For ballroom, we've had 2 performances so far... doing the samba and vieneese waltz that we did last semester and then we've picked up a 16 couple chacha which we've also been performing. The chacha is by far my favorite... but it's always been my favorite dance so that makes a lot of sense! In my latin class, we've started the paso doble which is not my favorite but it's going pretty well. I'm competing the paso for DanceSport in a few months which will be fun. I'm not competing open, which I wish I were because this is my last semester dancing but it just never came together. But I think that's a good thing because I really don't have any time that I could dedicate to practicing so much with my open partner... so it's a blessing. But I think that I'm really going to miss dancing. Right now I'm a little sick of it but I know that I'm going to miss it a lot. The rest of school is good... not too much to say there.
Devin has had some exciting weeks! He's been going to different places for Grad School interviews. On Monday, Feb. 9th, he had his interview for BYU. He said that the interview went well and they really liked him (which is a no-brainer because everyone likes Devin). This past weekend, Devin went to Maryland for his interview there. They also liked him a lot and he liked it too. The campus has classic beautiful buildings and is really pretty. Devin said there are some scary parts of town but there are better parts too, so we would probably be safe... enough! Also, Devin had an afternoon to waste, so we went and walked around DC and saw all the cool monuments! So that's pretty awesome that DC is so close... which means that that will give you all an excuse to visit us! This weekend, Devin is headed off for Lubbock Texas to interview for Texas Tech. We'll see how it goes!
Also something exciting in Devin's life is that his basketball team here at BYU has won all of their games. Way to go Dev!!!
We had our first Valentine's Day as married people which included picking up Devin from the airport late at night, making chocolate covered strawberries and drinking sparkling cider. It was really fun!
Devin and I also celebrated our halfiversary... or semi-anniversary... or 6-monthiversary... whatever, we've been married for 6 months as of yesterday!!! Yippy! It's been so fun! In some ways I can't believe that we've been married for half a year--that's a long time. But in other ways it feels like we've always been married-- like 6 months doesn't seem like a long enough time... but I mean this in a positive way. And then sometimes it's like 6 months is nothing. However you look at it, I love being married to Devin. He's so good to me and is such a good friend to have around all the time.
So I think that's it for us. Life is really busy but is really great! Hope that you all are doing well too, and if you're not, call me, let's chat.
This is Devin's cute new interview outfit! New everything! Nice blue, khaki, and white shirt (we also got one with orange instead of blue). New khaki slacks, new brown belt to match new brown shoes. It's very therapist-y don't you think!!!
