IT'S A...

So we had our ultrasound this morning and were pleased to find out we are having another little BOY! Hunter will have a little playmate. I think Danny is really excited too. He hasn't really talked about baby names too much, but this afternoon he brought me a list of all the names he had found on the Internet that he liked! I guess we will just have to start our own little soccer team!

Thanksgiving

We had a good Thanksgiving, we spent it with Danny's family. We started the morning out with the annual Wittwer Family 5K, which I did not run, just walked. Danny wasn't there because he was playing football eith his brothers. The weather was nice until the very end when it started to sprinkle a little bit. Then around noon we met all the family at the Abbey Inn for lunch. We had the best food and the kids had a great time. Hunter loves to see his cousins, especially little Hayden! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Jubilee of Trees

I just love the Jubilee of Trees! I look forward to it every year along with the Dickens Festival and all the other Christmas stuff! I went today with my sister-in-law and my mother-in-law; we had a great time and Hunter was pretty good for the most part. Hunter and I are standing in front of one the trees that was our favorite, but there were tons of cute ones!

First night in a Big Bed!

Hunter slept in a big boy bed for the first time last night. He did so good, I think he likes it better than his crib, he slept there all night! He is growing up so fast!

Halloween Pics

Here are some pictures from Halloween night. Hunter was a pirate again, same thing he was last year. Hey, the costume still fit, why not? He went trick or treating for the first time and had a ball. Danny said he did really good at first and then starting asking for more and more candy at each house. Luckily they just went to a few houses. We also had dinner in a pumpkin. My mom used to always make it, so I tried this year and it turned out pretty good. We also took Hunter over to Grandma Wittwer's so she could see his costume. We tried to get some cute pictures of him in the hay, but with him that is a little too much to ask for. As you can see the picture in the corn stalks shows how he really felt about it! Oh, 2 year olds!!

Thriller and a little Crafting

My sister came down this weekend and we went to Thriller out at Tuacahn, it was so fun, even the boys enjoyed themselves. We also spent sometime doing a little crafting. Earlier in the day we went to the What Women Want Expo and saw these cute Christmas Countdown calendars but they were $65, so we decided to make our own and ended up with these for $20! We thought they turned out pretty cute!

Flu Shots!

Has anyone gotten flu shots for their kids this year? My doctor's office suggested the kind that they spray up their nose. So I read the paper, hadn't heard anything about them even, and went ahead and had Hunter get it. They said that it would last longer because it was a "live" virus instead of the shot which is the dead virus. Well about a week later he got the flu, and so far it has lasted 3 days now and he is still throwing up! Why do we get flu shots for them if they still get the flu and does anyone else think that the live virus one is a BAD idea!?! Now I have the flu too!

My Favorite Time of Year!

I have not posted in forever, but I had to post about my favorite time of year! I LOVE Fall! I love cooler weather, I love the changing leaves, I love all the holidays that come with fall! I LOVE IT! So I have good reason for not posting, I have been a little nauseous to say the least! Yep that's right we are expecting! I am 12 weeks along, so that puts me due on April 15, Tax day! I am seriously reconsidering though, I can't imagine handling 2 and I hate to be pregnant. I just hate feeling like I have the flu 24-7! I really won't reconsider, I am just venting! We really are excited, it just better be a girl so that I can be done!

Catch Up

I haven't put a new post on my blog forever, so here's a little catch-up of what we have been up to! We have spent a couple of weekends up in Pine Valley and I always love it there and never want to come home. Hunter went to his very first movie in an actual movie theater, Kung Fu Panda. He did pretty well, we at least made it through the show. And this last weekend we went up to beautiful Bryce Canyon for a family reunion and did some hiking! It was just gorgeous there and the cool weather felt so nice. We stayed at Ruby's Inn, which was fun, and Hunter got to hang out with his cousins! And today we had a little birthday party for Hunter's 2nd birthday with some cute neighbor girls, all of the boys we invited couldn't make it. What can we say, he's a ladies man!! We had a fun time swimming at the Abby Inn pool and they gave him some really fun gifts! His actual birthday isn't until Saturday, but we his party a little early! Well, that's all for now!!

1st trip to the Dentist and a Bonk on the Head

Hunter went to his first dentist appointment today. The office was so cute, it was decorated like an old western town and everyone there was so nice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The office is the new Children's Dental, over by Costco. They cleaned his teeth and then on our way out they gave him a balloon and children's book! So fun! As for the bonk on his head. Danny was watching him last night because I was working at the private sale at the Boulevard, and they were running out the door and Hunter tripped and hit his head right on the edge of the door frame! OUCH! Danny said he really didn't even cry, but he got a goose egg the size of a golf ball, literally!! It looks better in this picture, and I still think it looks bad! Good thing the Wittwer family have hard heads!

Wittwer Family Vacation

We just got back from a little town called Eden up in Ogden Canyon. All of Danny's family went there for family vacation! We had a great time and it is absolutely gorgeous there, no wonder they call it "Eden". We spent the first day at Lagoon, which Hunter loved because he could ride almost all of the kiddie rides. The next day we went to Pine View Resevour and the kids loved the beach and swimming, and then the last day we went up to Park City and did a little shopping and the Alpine Slide. That evening we went back to Salt Lake to see a Real Soccer game, which we always enjoy! We did a lot in just 5 days, but we always have a great time! Hunter is already missing his cousin Hayden, they played so cute together!

4th of July

We had a great 4th, we spent the day swimming and in the evening we did some fireworks with friends in our neighborhood! Hunter really loved the fireworks this year and even held a sparkler!!

Danny's B-day and Soccer

Danny turned 27 on June 20th, I think he had a great day! Better than last year at least when we were driving to Bountiful because my grandpa was dying and got a flat tire and were stuck in Cedar City for 5 hrs! He got some great things, Real soccer tickets from me, some fun backyard chairs, solar lights and shoes from his parents, and stadium chairs for the Real game from my parents! Danny is the greatest hubby ever and we love him so much, so happy belated babe! Some of these other pictures are of Danny playing soccer with the city league. He loves it so much and he is SOOO good too!

Hunter & Hayden

This is Hunter and his "little" cousin Hayden. They are only 5 months apart and play so good together! We have had him over to our house a little more lately and love having him. They are so cute together, chasing each other around the house! I hope they stay great friends!

Farm Day

This post is a little belated, but I forgot to put the pictures on my computer. There is a little farm near our home and they had a Family Farm Day where you could go and learn about the farm animals and how the farm works. We didn't stay the whole time because it was so hot, but Hunter got to see some of the cute farm animals and had enough time to get all dirty!

Family Pictures

We got our family pictures taken last weekend when my family was down visiting! These were a few photos we got, we thought they turned out cute, except for the fact that Hunter was crying in EVERY picture!

Summer Rocks for Kids Festival

On Saturday June 21st there is a "Summer Rocks for Kids Festival" happening at the St. George Town Square. My mother-in-law has been organizing this to help raise money for the public schools. There are going to be tons of fun things going on at the Square, and even a 5K walk in the morning, which we will be participating in. It should be lots of fun and it's all for a good cause, so bring your family out and invite all your friends. Click on the title of this post so you can check out all the details! See you all there!

Our weekend in a FLASH!

We had such a fun weekend with my family! Every year they all come down to sunny St. George for family vacation. We take them to the lake and up to Danny's family's cabin. We hang out and play games, it is so fun but it went so fast this year! We had a little bit of trouble out at the lake, we got out into the middle of the lake and the boat overheated. So we didn't really boat this time, but we went back to the motel and swam and still had fun! We also made a little trek up to Zions and hiked the Emerald Pools trail. It was a little more of a hike than we anticipated but the babies did great! The cabin was nice too! Hunter had his first 4-wheeler ride, and the rest is history. Every time he would hear a 4-wheeler running he would cry until he got another ride. He just loved it! I hope everyone had fun, we sure did! Until next year!
