Hunter had his Christmas Preschool program this week. It was fun to see them up on stage and saying their little parts "R is for Reindeer to pull Santa's sleigh". He said it perfectly! After the program they each got to sit on Santa's lap. He loves it there and loves his teachers too!
We spent the weekend up in Brian Head snowboarding and sledding. The boys had a good time and didn't even complain about the cold. I wished that it would have snowed while we were there so they could have seen that, maybe next time!
We went up north because my sister was blessing their new baby, and got a picture of the whole Tripp family, except for my brother who is on a mission. Doesn't happen that often so had to post it.
Every year for work Danny has to go to the Best Western Conventions for meetings, and everytime they go somewhere different. This year the convention was in Vancouver, Canada and some of the wives got to go. We were gone for 4 days, the longest I have ever left my kids. Thanks to my mom for watching them, they had a great time! We went to lots and lots of meetings, and were able to squeeze in a little bit of shopping and site seeing. It sure made me appreciate all the meetings they have to go to! Fun to have some time alone without the kids too!
For Halloween Hunter was a knight and Krew wore Hunter's old pirate costume, poor second child! They had a great time trick-or-treating. Hunter really got into it this year and never wanted to stop, Krew did really get it and was happy with a few pieces of candy in his mouth!
In October we took a little family trip to California and took the boys to Disneyland for the first time. We had free passes that we had gotten from the "Give a Day, Get a Day" and had been saving our "mulla" all year to go and it was well worth it! We had a great time and the boys absolutely loved it! The park wasn't too busy, we had to wait in a few lines, but other than that it went perfectly! We were there just one day and that was probably perfect for our kids. I can't wait to go again! We also hit Newport beach while we were there, and played in the water and Danny built a pretty awesome sandcastle. It was just fun to be on a little family trip of our own!
I haven't gotten pictures taken of my boys in forever! So this weekend while we were in Brian Head we got some! The fall colors up there were gorgeous, I just can't wait until snowboarding season! I think they turned out pretty cute!
Danny and I went on a fun trip to San Fransisco and left our kids home! We had a great time! We ate a lot of yummy food, road bikes across the Golden Gate Bridge, went to Alcatraz, to the markets and Ghiradelli Square. It is such a fun place to visit, I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
So we put Hunter on a soccer team this year and so far so good. He got a big black eye at his first soccer practice that is still hanging around after 3 weeks, and he would rather play with the kids on the side line than run on the soccer field. At least we haven't had any crying yet, I'm sure that will be next week! As long as he gets a treat during half-time, I'm sure he will still want to go!
Camping in the backyard, or trying at least. We got this new tent and wanted to try it out, so we decided that Krew would sleep inside and the rest of us would sleep in the tent. I am sorry but air mattresses are so uncomfortable. We lasted until like 3 and just went inside to our own beds! We need to try again with a better bed I think. Hunter loved it though!
Danny parents also just sent these cute jerseys for everyone in the family in honor of the World Cup Soccer games! They are on a mission in South Africa, hence the SA jersey! Thanks, we love them!
My mom and dad just got back from Hawaii and brought the grandkids these cute little outfits. Here is Krew, Hunter and their cousin Carson on my parents porch!
Hunter went to the dentist a few weeks ago and did so well. He sat there the whole time, let them brush, floss and flouride his teeth. It makes me sad that he is getting so big. And to top off a perfect appointment he had 4 cavities! AHH, he has my horrible teeth!
For our anniversary we went to Las Vegas and stayed 2 nights without our kids for the first time! It was the best thing we have ever done. We shopped and swam and went and saw the Lion King which was SO GOOD! Happy 7 years babe! I know that I am totally dressed up, but it was cold and that was the only sweater I brought.
Danny helped volunteer during the Iron Man Race in St. George. This is a picture at the kid run they had the night before. We watched those athletes come in the next day and wow it was amazing!

Krew's first birthday! We didn't really do anything spectacular. We had my sister over, opened presents and ate these yummy tiny cupcakes! I can't tell if Krew is excited or if he thinks he is getting jipped with such a tiny cupcake! We love this little guy!
Hunter thinks it is so funny to sit in the dryer, it really makes me a little nervous though. I had to take a picture!
On April 1st, not a joke though, our little Krew got tubes put in his ears! This was the 3rd surgery for our family in 8 months! I think that's enough for a while. Don't they look so cute in those little gowns!
We did a fun Easter egg hunt at a park with some friends. The kids loved it, they played games and got lot's of Easter candy!
Best buds, for now! Until they learn how to fight over things!
