Dyer Days

Driving by a field I was trying to keep her awake:

Me: "Elly look at those cows and the donkey. Thank you God for the animals that we get to see"

Elly: "I don't see them anywhere."

Me: "You don't see who?"

Elly: "God. I didn't see him back there!" (in a tone that very clearly meant I was an idiot for not knowing who she was talking about.)

Holding her Bible:

"My Bible says "God is ALIVE. It says so right HERE!"

Today holding her Bible: "Lets see what it says. Lets talk about me. God is SOOOOO beautiful, he lives in a far away......." (the end)

Everyday at some point: "Mom, I'm sorry I called you Dad."

Yesterday driving to school to get Logan: "The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout. Down came the rain and chewed up all the eyeballs..." (she was playing with a set of googly eyes from her snowman project at school.

Today: "here's my list. It says 9040 to get some yogurt really fast. Okay, lets get it really fast. I have to buy something."

Today eating lunch she rolled up two pieces of ham. I told her to eat it and she says, "this is my littttttle baby Jesus (holding one) and this is his manger (under the other piece of ham)"

Last night, I was starting to get a sinus infection and wasn't feeling well at all. She lays out a baby blanket beside me and says, "You lay down here right now and you will feel ALLLL better."

Yesterday after we picked Logan up from school. "Log (pronounced Lowg), did you have a good day at school?" "Did you have fun playing with all of your friends?"

Ohhhhhhhhh....we love, love love this girl and the fun that she brings to our family!!!
