This trip was perfect.
My first time to the Angel's stadium.
At the entrance they were handing out free backpacks to kids under 18.
They handed me one. I didn't even have to beg!
Sometimes looking like you're still in high school pays off.
It was Heaven on earth.. duh.. their mascot is an ANGEL!
3 home runs accompanied by *fireworks* each time.
They won, and I was ecstatic.
After eating at La Creperie Cafe the next day with Aunt Sheila and cousin Monica in Long Beach we spent the day in Newport Beach.
Followed by two days in DISNEYLAND/California Adventure!! Hooray! Eric hadn't been since he was 7 and I hadn't been for a few years so we were both overjoyed.
We ate churros, rode everything from King Arther's Carousel to California Screamin' (even if we had to sneak into the line) and were surprised to see old dance friends in the parade!
The best part of the two days was the World of Color show in California Adventure. Wow. Here is a Youtube video to show the unbelievable dreamy magicalness of it.

After another day at the beach, we spent some time in Hollywood and A LOT of time in traffic and finished our trip with a Dodgers/Rockies game accompanied by Boris and A. Sheila.
The next day we were on our way back home, to real life.
Can't wait for our next family vacation!
