There's something great about a Sunny Sunday walk. I'm always asking Eric to go on a walk with me. He's not as much of a fan so when he says yes, it's even better! Today we walked to church.
Speaking of church, I love going to this new ward. Not only is it in walking distance but last week was our first week and when I walked into Relief Society this adorable older sister looked at me and exclaimed "Look how young and skinny you are!" and then this week a YW girl was starring at me in the hall and said "You're really pretty," in the sweetest way. I mean who are these nice people!?! I love them and they made my day! Oh yeah and did I mention that church starts at 1pm so I get to sleep in and have the whole morning to hang out while Eric attends numerous meetings. Yeah, he is not as much of a fan of this ward as I am, yet. After being called as the YM President right off the bat he has had no time to enjoy Sunday sleeping in. He is so awesome with the YM though and he does enjoy being in that area of the ward.
Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Update.
Things have been winding down at the Hansen residence. Eric has settled into his new job and is enjoying it! I love leaving for work together and getting home at the same time too. This week is my final week of teaching dance for the year and then we just have 1 week to get ready for their end of year show. I'm not going to lie, teaching is exhausting (especially after already working an 8 hour day) and I will be happy for a break, but I will definitely miss some of these cuties I've been teaching the past year.
Other than just attending weddings, running marathons and enjoying the good weather, we don't have any other major plans this summer, but it will be SUMMER... sigh, our favorite season. :)

It's Been a Year...
This photo was captured as we drove away from the BYU Tanner building for the last time. It's been a year and the time had come for us to be released from our callings in the YSA 85th ward. It was a bittersweet sacrament meeting. We have learned a LOT serving in these callings and I'm not going to lie, sometimes it was annoying to have to be to church so early and drive so far in relation to where our home ward is, but we really did enjoy hanging out with "the kids" of that ward and having them over to our place for FHE. Eric was such a good example to me this year of how to serve willingly in the church. His calling was way more taxing than mine but he was always happy at church and excited to get to know the members of that ward. He had great relationships with them and treated everybody like they were his best friend. I love that about him.
Now we move on to our home family ward and it will be a good change for us but we are going to miss our friends from "The Riv."
