Visit with the Clecks
Stephanie and her family came to visit us this weekend. It was a quick visit but we packed it in. We had fun taking them to all of our favorite places here. We grilled out Friday night. The kids had a blast playing and having a movie night and the adults enjoyed catching up.
On Saturday morning, we went to our neighborhood park and then for a walk on the greenway. They loved seeing the waterfalls and playing in the water. We got a sitter for the kids Saturday night and we got out for a date night. We went to our favorite, Poole's Diner, and had the yummiest dinner. We grabbed dessert at Bittersweet and then went to a comedy show.
On Sunday, we grabbed a late breakfast at Rise and then went to Pullen Park. My kids love it there and so do all the friends we take when they visit.
It's crazy to think we've been friends since 8th grade and here we are 23 years later still hanging out and with our families, too. I'm thankful for lifelong friends:)
