working on a UFO....
Pulled out this old Row Robin and looked at a date that was in the box with it, 2013. Then I decided to put this it together, as it has been sitting too long. Next to decide if it needs a border....
Got the borders on! I just a flower fabric that was going to be the back, so now the back will probably be muslin.

Gifts given and a good find...
I gave these trees to my MahJongg Buddies yesterday.
This 301 arrived in great shape from Nebraska.
I found it on ebay, it was a machine that lived in a cabinet. The shipper did an excellent job of packing and she arrived safe and sound. She looks very clean, but I will check her over, get her oiled and lubed soon so that I can sew on her after Christmas

Getting ready for the Mystery.....
I had to go shopping for the magenta fabric, but have most of the rest of the colors. Just hope I can at least make half of the units that Bonnie calls for.
Scotty is checking out my plan for enlarging the kit quilt that I bought. It is for a lap size and I want to make it twin size for my Daughter. I also plan on finishing this for next year's local quilt show.
Our local Quilt Guild Show gets hung this weekend and the show begins Tuesday. I'll get some pictures then.

I have been quilting....
I have been very busy this month getting customer quilts ready for the quilt show. I hope to have a bit of a slower pace for the first week of October and then it is time for Christmas quilting.
I am finally done with Customer quilts for the Carolina Pine Quilter's Quilt Show, that will take place in November. This is my own quilt that I will be putting in the show. Just need to get it quilted and decide what to bind it with.

Long time absent from the blog.....
My quilt guild had a challenge called "Horsin' around Aiken" This was my entry "Horsin' around Hopeland Garden" During our meeting all the guild members voted for their favorite.
Mine was the third place winner!
Kerry's was the second place winner.
Lucy's was the fist place winner and so very beautiful!
Below are the other entries in no certain order. They were all special in their own way, it was hard to choose a favorite.
