this is Nancy G's underground railway quilt. the fabric in this one are very rich.
I am now finished with all the quilts for Customers that had to be done for Christmas presents.
!!!!
Now  I think I will take a break and get a few of my quilts quilted.

Played a little more with the blocks...

Chipper wants to see this as a bed size quilt. I think it would require another eight to ten blocks.

Busy, busy, busy...

Finished this large flannel customer quilt in time to go off to college with her Grandson. I have also been busy on many other customer quilts.
Decided to start a new quilt of my own. Did this practice block.
I purchased some light gray to dark gray fabric for the background. These are very fussy and take a lot of patience to make. If Igo by the pattern I will need 98.

Doors are up...

The door to my studio is up and the Kitties are sad about the loss of play area.
The door from my studio. It still needs paint and some fine tuning, but it is functional. I have even loaded a quilt on the machine and it will be finished today.

Still waiting...

The door to my room was not able to be installed Saturday. Frustrating, but out of my control. It now is scheduled to arrive Tuesday and be installed on Wednesday. So now I have to do some quilting and cat wrangling at the same time. Not ideal, but that is life.
One perk of a long day of waiting is that i finished piecing these blocks. They just need to get pressed and trimmed. I like this layout. It will be ten rows of eight. Then it may call for another border of something...

I am all moved to my new home...

This is the new home of Chipper Quilter
 The Longarm is set up
decided where to set up my sewing machine and got to sew some blocks.
Thirty of the eighty sewn together. These were found in the move and since I still need to organize the rest of my sewing/quilting stash these blocks are getting done.
The center of my room is still full of boxes that contain my lifetime collection of fabric, yarn, and many other crafting supplies. My plan is to clean out and re-home all the stuff that I am no longer interested in making or finishing. I have one month until our guild is having a quilters tag sale.
The next big thing to happen in my quilt room is a door to keep the cats out is supposed to be installed today. Hope to get pictures later.

Working on some of my UFO's...

These are "Daisy Kingdom" bunnies from I think the 1980's. I have this top almost ready to quilt.
Next up is this set of blocks that I started around six or so years ago. The diamond blocks are all ready to sew together. This is a monster, fourteen rows of twelve Hexagon each. It is made from 2 1/2" strips that I received from being president of my quilt guild.

Finished this customer quilt and now have three more to do before we move to a new house.
Detail of some of the quilting.
 On the machine now.
Border detail
This is the house that we are in the process of buying. We have the inspection this Friday and then we can schedule the closing date. The reason for moving is to get a room big enough to fit my longarm and all my other sewing machines plus supplies. We explored adding a room to our existing house and found it to cheaper to buy a bigger house. I will post more pictures once we have the keys to the house. It has a room 18'x 20' for my studio.

Progress report on UFO's...

Six out of fifteen Pig tails are now stitched. Then it is on to their nostrils.
All 50 of my Ringo lake mystery blocks are assembled and part of the chevrons that I am going to use in my border are paired.
It is slow going, but they are moving forward.
