More progress on almost finished projects...

This is my "Mauna Kea" Quilt .

So glad to have this top finally done, it has many points that have to be pinned to match before sewing. Good pattern, easy to make, but the final construction is slow because of all the points to match. I will be sending this pattern on to my Sister, she likes a challenge. LOL

October finish...

Otis is now 5 months old
BeaBea( I think she is about 17 months old now) in the background and
 Orville @ 5 months
I finished my Harmony quilt top designed by Gudrun Erla.
When I went to get a back for my Harmony quilt I saw some Fairy Dust fabric and some pretty fatquarters that I just could not leave behind. Plus I wanted to suport a local shop!

BeaBea got her surgery this past Thursday, all went well and she is almost back to normal.
Otis is now almost 3 months old, he is a little shy, but sweet. The biggest difference between the boys is their body style and fur texture.
Orville is more outgoing and is also sweet. Hard to believe that they have been in my sun room for 2 months now. We plan to get them into the house in August. They have been visiting with Chipper and Scotty through the door, so far not much hissing just mostly curious.

Kitten update...

They are eight weeks old today. My DH and I are going to adopt these two.
I still have their Mama, she is in heat, but when that is over I can get her spayed.
Then I will let her back outside. The little girl kitten was adopted and has gone to her forever home.
We are calling this boy Otis.
This boy we are calling Orville.
As for quilting I am working on a customer's antique Grandmother's Flower Garden.

Things that are happening in May...

Finally was able to get the top of my design wall up. Now I can layout half of a big quilt and look forward to adding the bottom half.
This was my Mother's Day.
These are the kittens of a feral Cat that I started feeding last October.
I captured them and now will foster them until I can get them fixed. I also have the Mother cat and will try to get a picture of her soon. Since I fed them I feel responsible to take care of the problem.
They are sooo cute!
