For our Spring Break Vacation in 2010 we stayed in Brookings, Oregon which is next to the California border. We stayed at the Best Western Beachfront Inn. The Redwood National Forest was just a 30 minute drive from our hotel, where we saw some of the largest trees in the world. Some that were over 20 feet in diameter and 324 feet tall. We also stopped at the Tree's of Mystery, where we were greeted by Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. We rode on the Sky Trail that took us above the Giant Redwoods. We also got to drive right thru one of these Giant Redwoods. We took a scenic drive home and drove up the coast on highway 101. Making a few scenic stops including the largest Sea Cave in the world where a ton of sea lions and seals gather. Preston standing by the biggest tree we found.
