oh i had a really cool suprise birthday!!! haha josiah helped me plan. haha even though i kinda knew abt it.. being the one who asked for it =P (thick skinned). haha thanx alot dearest haha i really appreciate it.. even though alot of ppl didn't come i thought it was great. thanx to all who came. haha n thanx for dunking me into the pool... haha n effectively runining my clothes.. haha n thanx for the swim suit ruth n all.. haha i prob won't wear it often haha as can tell.. =P but thanx dear alot for setting it up. it was really cool.. n sweet.

oh yeah i haven't talked abt today!! haha had this audition thingy for th christmas production.. (sorry duckie for pang seh-ing u again! haha i promise that we'll go get the pdl soon k? ) haha i think i totally flopped it =P haha the acting bit was okok.. u know its like having one of those moments where at that moment of time u are stunned n can't think of anything to say or do.. like in exams.. then when its all over u suddenly realise that u should have done this or that.. haha it often happens to me.. haha guess its cos my brain functions v slowly... esp early in the morn.. =P

haha anyway.. haha the dance was fun.. i can't dance for nuts but its was fun.. all i remb was "POP! WAVE! CA - CHING! CAK! CAK! CAK! TA - DAA!!" haha but charleen is really good.. haha as expcted as she's a dancer.

for some reason today i kinda keep thinking of my Grandpa. prob cos i wasn't there when he went.. due to the fact that i was in US. n for those ppl who think that was heartless of me.. i have nothing to say except that it was his last wish to me.. to enjoy myself on my trip as he did in all his trips. really miss him.. like home feels wierd without him to nag n teach us the bible n bring us to watch movies. i know it was prob a good thing that he went cos he was suffering so much.. but it kinda makes u wonder y he had to go through it.. i always expected him to go off peacefully when he is healthy n whole without any suffering before it.. ah well u can't change the past. n he's prob v happy where he is now.

oh yeah thanx to all those who were there for my family n me during that time.. =] esp for all the smses.. really ment alot to me since i was kinda cut away from home. =] n thanx QI!! thanx alot for being there for me when i got the news.. yup u really r a great fren =] hope i didn't spoil the trip for u! n thanx ALOT Dearest u really stuck eith me through that super low time..

'we train you from boys to MEN!!' haha sorry couldn't have gone to see u off.. i had the auditions... (u'll hear abt it later) but all e best!! haha n i hope the books are a great help inside... '101 ways to dwang' haha oh yeah as today's ur birthday too.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! XD

GORDON: hey! i know ur birthday has just passed.. haha hope u really liked the pressie.. i thought it was really cool!! haha anyway ur 21 now!! woohoo!! old le! =P haha maybe we can all go out one day.. maybe even to play badminton again.. like when we/u were young n 'innocent'... haha i have totally lost touch with it. haha anyway its great seeing u more involved in youth.. keep it up!! QI!!!: haha i didn't forget u!! omg!! touring US with you was super fun!! haha even though u are a hard-core thrill seeker.. n u caused me to die of heart attack sooooooo many times cos i had to go on the ride with you... =P haha but travelling with you was a blast.. haha even if it were packed with drama.. like u getting sick.. n me calling 911 (that was so cool!) n us missing the plane. haha really never had a dull moment with u! n thanx sooooo much for being there for me when my Grandpa died.. =D n celebrating my birthday there with me.. haha sorry that sometimes i get anal n snore soooo loudly (which i think is not really true =P) haha all e best for your studies!! dun worry u'll find good frens in sch! n dun be too stressed go relax once in a while. =D lets go touring again. XD

ok now for my blog post.. haha i know its really long but what to expect since i haven't blogged for a looooong time.. haha

ok my work ended in june.. haha yay!!! freedom!! but also ment that no more income. =[

haha.. oh went to youth camp!! 1st ever!! it was awesome.. really got back in touch with GOD! cried sooo much i think i'm going to bring a whole box of tissue to the next camp! XD haha it was really great! also bunked in with charleen n becca n joleen.. haha had loads of fun playing cards way into the night.. haha bonded with the youth really well.. there are really some new faces there.. got to know them better.. oh yeah i was a LEADER!! haha so had to lead my group n stuff.. haha the games were fun except the last game.. the night one. that was just gross!!! haha thank goodness i didn't need to play only my members.. wahahaha =P so evil right. really felt for u guys. but my group was great! haha quite enthu! =P really looking forward to the next one.. or maybe even going for missions.. haha haven't gone for missions before.

after coming back from camp we (family) immediately flew off to vietnam the next day for hols.. WE WENT TO VIET - NAM!! haha its really not too bad there.. quite cool actually. but the traffic is crazy!! haha everywhere there are motorcycles.. n there traffic lights are a waste of money haha cos they don't obey it.. its like crossing a road junction when the green man is on feels like throwing away ur life.. they just zoom on around u! haha its totally crazy. but the people there are nice.. n the public toilets are suprisingly clean! haha went to down the chu chi tunnels! it was so cool!! haha i even fired a real rifle.. wa the recoil can kill you.. super pain la!! haha n the blast almost made me deaf. =P (as u can see i'm a lousy shooter, duckie!! teach me some lessons!!) oh my dad fell in love with the pho (which is pronounced as 'fur') so we had to eat it for breakfast, lunch n dinner for 4 whole days!!! haha really got sick of it! haha craved some 'normal' food after that. oh n for those coffee lovers.. vietnamese coffee is by far the best coffee u can ever taste.. as they say 'Adda Kick!' its so super good that i drank like 5 cups a day! haha coffee bean n starbucks n what not cannot compare to it! haha my mom went art crazy there.. n she ended up buying 2 local pieces of art. they're quite cool.. but.. not my thing though. haha

after came back from VIET - NAM!! haha 2 weeks later me n qi set off for our grand tour to US!! to see wai!! it was really cool.. though we really spent a bomb on the entire trip it was worth it!! haha we really made the most of our time there! we even crazily hiked up to the hollywood sign.. 3 hours hike up!! (thanx to my lousily brilliet idea) haha we took the wrong route.. thats y it was so long.. if not it should have taken about 30 mins. haha but the experience was great. haha its so dry n hilly up there that u really think u r in a desert with no way of escaping. total disappointment when we reached the top.. we could only see the back of the sign.. >.< haha by that time we ran out of water.. so we had to beg like almost every single person for some water to spare on our way down.. almost felt that we couldn't make it cos we were totally dehydrated.. i could even see black spots. thankfully the people there are really kind.. this guy even gave us each a bottle n drove us back down the hill so that we wouldn't need to walk all the way down. we both had a really bad sun burn after that haha serves us right. =P we went to see universal studios.. went around the sets n rides.. they were all cool.. but the scariest ride was the mummy one.. haha that was the scariest roller coaster i ever sat haha.. the jurassic pak ride was a total heart dropping experience.. cos all we had was a thin belt for a steep drop.. u scream finish still havent reach the bottom. we clebrated 4th of july there too!! haha fireworks everywhere. but my fav by far is DISNEYLAND!!! haha i'm a total hard core disney fan according to qi.. 3 days there is diffinately not enough. it was so super cool that i cannot even describe in words. ^^ haha i went fanatic there.. even qi felt i was too hyper. =P

san fran was great too!! the weather there is perfect for a cold loving person like me.. (singapore is just too hot!) haha there our huge dramatic event took place.. qi got really sick.. food poisioning i think.. n i had to call 911 cos she was totally freaking me out in the public toilet.. she almost fainted. so cool!! i called 911! n i sat in an ambulance!! finally!! XD ok but it wasn't cool then cos qi was still freaking me out. haha but at the hospital after giving her meds n letting her sleep abit.. she was back to normal.. =D but san fran was really hilly!! the hills are soo steep that i felt that i was back on the jurrasic park ride only this time i'm walking down. =P saw the golden-gate bridge, chinatown, fisherman's warf n even the international gay flag!! =P

we stayed in wai's house for about a week.. was really great catching up with each other.. her family's great! n i love her dog!! ABYSS!! haha he's so cute.. just felt like packing him back to singapore. =P haha nvm i'll get my own dog next time.. oh wai n her bf n her sis n mom brought us round the place.. went shopping in gilroys where the factory outlets are.. it was so cool!! bought loads of stuff.. the levi's there are about $20-40 haha sooooo much cheaper than in singapore. ^^ we went to see wai's uni too (uni of santa clara) n stamford!! haha they r really cool!! way bigger than the uni's in singapore! haha oh yeah ate home cooked food (wai's n her mom's cooking) for the 1st time in super long! haha it was really great. really had a blast there.. haha even celebrated my birthday there.. thanx guys for the cake (we celebrated while watching titanic XD) n the pressie n card! ^^

we bought soooo much stuff that our luggage was almost overweight.. n we had to really sit on our luggage to close them haha.. i bought loads of soft toys!! XD as usual! =P haha had a really interestig trip back as we missed our connecting flight in hk due to the delayed flight from la to hk.. luckily the airlines paid for lodgingsfor us so we stayed in this super posh hotel.. haha compared to where we stayed in the past few weeks.. it was like "WOW!!" haha it really looked like a hotel. haha we caught the plane the next day... interesting holiday! XD oh yeah we took about 3000-4000 photos!! thats freaking alot!! haha

now that holidays are over.. back to studies.. >.< i really miss slacking around.. n i miss US alot! especially the weather there.. here is just too hot. haha as i told sashi "i wear tees n shorts n slippers to sch as the weather here is just too hot for jeans" =P haha now i'm studying in NTU ENGINEERING!! haha its like totally suprising to most of my frens as they kinda know that i'm more of a arty person.. even though i like physics. =P haha but its basically fun. XD learning new stuff n making new frens. =P haha made quite alot of frens. =D n they're really nice people. haha hopefully we'll stick close even if we r streamed to diff courses. ^^

Beauty World>

In keeping with my vow to try to update my blog as often as possible.. HERE'S MY POST!! haha

went yesterday to watch "Beauty World" with Millie and the gang (refering to ruth, duckie, janice, me) haha and josiah (so EXTRA RIGHT??! =P) anyway.. almost ran there cos we were late. haha the stupidest and most embarassing thing was that i tripped and fell/ almost rolled down the stairs. haha.. embarassing right?? even at age 18 i still have trouble balancing on my own two feet. haha what a klutz!! =P thank goodness i didn't sprain my ankle again. haha if i did then it'll be more embarrassing. haha okok enough abt me and my almost sprained ankle. =P the show was great! haha (i was 'scolded for saying it was only 'quite good' =P)haha sorry inside joke. it was very funny even at the end. But i didn't like the ending. haha we all (with one exception =P) felt she should have gone with the other guy. =P haha its just like 'the phantom of the opera'. why do the girls always go with the 'wrong' guy??!! its so annoying!! sorry if i offend anyone but why do they all pick the NEh-Neh guys (wimpy guys) in the end??!! what is wrong with them?!! they should go with the other guy which personally i think is much better cos they have more character.

oh bought the CD haha which is no suprise to most, cos i have a fettish of collecting all the CD's of the musicals i watch. currently i have abt.. 1, 2, 3... 7! i think. haha not that impressive but who cares!! =P after the show had a very 'auntified' moment when we decided to queue for autographs and pics. so now i have an autographed CD!! yay!! sadly i don't think it's worth millions. =P oh ruth u better hurry up and post the pics k??

HEY BALDIES!!! XD haha ok this entry is quite late haha.. sorry to those who have already went into TEKONG long before this post haha. sorry had to motivate myself to get this post out haha. anyway hope u guys have real fun there! =P haha hopefully now u'll appreciate fully the comfort of home, the savviness of technology, the joy of freedom and most importantly the warmth of HAIR!! =P haha dun worry now u all can enjoy fully the warm sea breeze! =P haha oh yeah all e best to u all!! =P i guess u all will be chanting this mantra for the next 2 yrs..

Last few important events in 2007>

HEY!! ok this is for those few fellow homosapiens (sapians??)that are bugging me to update.. actually its only 2 =P ok shall rank impt events cos there's just too much to talk abt.

1) I GOT A JOB!!! =P (haha just for ur info) its at LTA. apparently my title is FINANCIAL ASSISTANT which is a cool n flowery lettering for the odd-job person in the office. basically doing filing, photocopying, manual labour.. haha yeah super boring work that ppl usually push to others to do.. aka ME!! haha but the reason y i accepted the job was
1) my mom was bugging me to get a job n get.. "my butt out of the house" so as to speak.
2) its like getting paid to clean up ur room.. u know filing n stuff. haha but i've nvr really cared to clean up my room so can't really compare.. but u get the idea right??? the pays not bad la.. i think haha since i havent received any pay yet.. we'll see soon. haha

2) oh yes celebrated CHRISTMAS!!! n NEW YEAR!!! haha sorry too lazy to put up a thanx list for all the pressies i got. so i'll just say a huge general THANX!! to everyone who gave me a pressie. haha those who didn't dun need to feel bad.. there's always the next christmas!! oh and my birthday!! WAHAHAHA XD oh i got an ipod nano from my parents. WOOHOOO!!! =P haha so happy now i'm officially from stoneage (inside joke for those who saw my super low gaget hp n stuff) to tech savvy!! haha now can beat all the tekong boys who are 'regrettably' in the stoneage for 2 yrs!! =P hahaha oh also got a pressie all the way from europe!! haha thanx!! sorry that i gave such a crappy gift compared to urs. haha

3) met up with ruth, millie, duckie (=P) and jiayi for dinner and catching up. haha they all look the same.. =P haha they act the same too.. esp ruth.. yes ruth though ur sense of humour has grown into dollars.. u still act the same. haha went to harry's after that.. haha super x la that place. n it was like EMPTY!! haha i got BAILEY'S IRISH CREAM!! haha i think its the only alcoholic drink i would ever drink. haha.. Millie got some alcoholic mango smoothie. Duckie had a 'Bloody Mary'.. which tasted like minestrone soup =P haha but the funniest was Ruth's drink.. haha.. she had 'S** on the beach'.. haha not literally its the drink's name.. (ok its abit immature but its funny k?) but it tasted nice. haha.. serious.. anyway aside from that had loads of fun talking and catching up with others.

4) oh yeah prom.. haha sorry to those who keep bugging me for the photos.. hee i havent uploaded into my com yet.. haha actually JC prom is super highly over-rated. went for prom where i knew only abt 4-5 ppl?? haha.. oh yes n the dress that i bought.. $90 DRESS!! haha but i didn't wear it. so regretted the choice la. seriously would nvr trust that fren's taste ever again.. =P u know who u are.. in the end my sis wore it for my cousin's wedding..

but prom was totally boring.. sat at a table where no one talks to you/us( me theo and sheila) cos in the first place we hardly even now these ppl. the activity was ok... the MC person's voice was super jarring.. haha anyway the prom king and queen... i think the results were rigged.. haha oh the after prom party (went with sheila theo daniao and some of sheila's frens) hahaha.. i think i set a new record!! haha spent only 45 mins in Zouk. haha didnt drink. didn't dance. haha basically was the 'bag watcher'. anyway i think i looked too unappealing for anyone to notice. =P haha anyway i was only there to observe what actually goes on there and what so nice abt clubbing. from what i saw.. I vow never to step into a club ever again. haha its just too disgusting to even write it down. this is a PG/G blog. haha =P

hmmm ok if i can think of other impt stuff i'll write in the next post.. haha prob in a super long while. =P

End of Education!! (for the time being)>

Finally!!! A's are over!! okok abit late haha but better late then never!! =P haha ok this blog is like almost officially dead... heee but heck i'll just post one for the fun of it. =P these few days was supposed to pack it full of activities that i'll prob drop dead cos of the exertion haha. but been slacking my butt off.. like seriously. haha oh yeah to be sensitive to those who haven't finished their A's, no names mentioned. all e best peeps!! dun worry the end's near!! the oasis in the desert is just a footstep away!! the calm after the storm is a sec away!! the party is just around the corner!! the time to regain ur perfect figure is at hand!! the champagne bottle for celebration is in the fridge??!! (haha i'm totally running out of ideas but i guess u get the idea.. hopefully)

ok.. think one of the most impt activity so far was celebrating sheila's birthday. haha it was a total surprise.. quite fun actually got to meet sheila's out of school frens. haha yup the whole thingy was fun. sorry Sheila that we needed to go off early. hope u had a fun filled time n hope u like the fishes!! oh she sent me this msg later on frenster.. hope u dun mind me posting it here.

SLEEP!! =.=>

FINALLY!! Mid yrs is over!! haha.. not really celebrating now cos 1) too tired to celebrate, just wanna catch up on my sleep.. i got eyebags la!! haha =P and 2) dun think i'll do so well.. especially physics.. seeing that my mind totally blanked out during paper 2. did less than 20 qns( meaning parts of the qn not the full qn) think i'll be lucky to even get 10 marks. haha..

its so funny the only subject i actually studied real hard for was physics. almost every day i did physics during the hols la. haha it was the only subject i was confident in la. and i dun expect to do well now. was damn depressed la.. haha can you believe i cried after the exam. not the wailing kind of crying la.. silent crying. actually contemplated not handing up my paper la.. haha and the most ironic thing is that the other subjects like econs maths and lit i just did last min revision and i think i'll pass them. haha.. talk abt irony.
