He invited her over for dinner.
When she arrived, she waited anxiously outside the house waiting for the green light to come in.
He raced through the house to light all the little candles in metal cup placed on a white porcelain plate graced with maroon color potpourris.
As she enters the hall, there was a table for two with two dinner plates and cutleries placed neatly on the table mats, two champagne glasses, serviettes, two x’mas hats and candle with enclosed holder.
The whole place was dimly lit with candles far apart, with only the brightest source of light coming from the X’mas tree. Visibly at the bottom of the tree, there was her present with little ‘Merry X’mas’ card pasted on it, guarded by little toy soldiers surrounding the 6” tall tree.
Bing-Cosby X’mas oldies injecting most of the X’mas mood, completing the ambience.
The candles were like a passage guiding her. Along the way there were elaborated X’mas card, sweet little messages in little red X’mas socks, message in a bottle. There were clues leading from one area to another and ultimately to her mini pre-X’mas present.
A little game he prepared for her to keep her occupied while he prepares dinner. Everything was done with touch of desire and anticipation for perfection in addition great motive to surprise.
As she completed the game, received her reward, she was all smiles and got her big hug.
Dinner was served. Just like every other candlelight dinner, there’s the appetizer, the main course and desert. He was the host, the chef, the waiter.
As X’mas approaches, simultaneous snow sprays as both were all messed up.
Champagne bottle was popped open and a toast was made to commemorate this wonderful day and for continuity of brighter days in the future.

Glory Glory Spurs!
Although it's still early days but plenty to cheer for if your a Tottenham supporter like me. Back to back wins, clean sheets, resolute performances and winning away from home. That is like killing 3 birds with one pee. Just when the team looked like battling from relegation under Martin Jol, Juande Ramos has been spot on recently, managed to steer the sinking ship to safety and i believe we're heading towards the right direction. It's a pleasure to watch Spurs at the moment and i'm proud to be able to say that as a Spurs fan.
We don't play like pussies anymore and the players are figthing for every ball. Berbatov's form too is vital to climb the league and he has been majestic and once again attracting rumours about him leaving the club. Personally i don't see him leaving the club in January but probably end of the season. As much as i hate to see him leave but he's just too good for Spurs and it's almost envitable because he's a world class players and the club is under-achieved at the moment. A player he's class should definately be playing in the champions league and Spurs will most definately miss the Champion's league next season. We need to salvage this season by qualifying for UEFA cup the very least since the damage has been done by Jol and it's pretty difficult to even finish in the top 7 considering the other teams this season has done well; Everton, Man City and Portsmouth.
The next game is a very difficult one, a trip to the Emirates againts the Gooners. Their key players will definately be fresh considering that Wenger rested several key players during the mid-week clash againts the Rovers while our team fielded key players. If i'm not mistaken Zokora will be suspended following the sending off againts the Citizens. This is a huge loss for us since we're already short of defenders, King, Dawson, Rocha, Gardner , Bale and Ekotto are still yet to recover. The obvious change would be Chimbonda to play the centre-back position and Stalteri to come in as a replacement or Tainio could feature again as he look solid in the right-back position againts City. Probable lineup for Spurs would be Robinson-Lee-Chimbonda-Kaboul-Staleri-Malbranque-Jenas-Boateng-Lennon-Berbatov-Defoe.
I believe that Spurs have what it takes to beat Arsenal but i'm not expecting much, i think a draw will be a great result for Spurs. Unfortunately, the recent win againt Chelski has given them a massive boost and it's difficult to stop them with our own team not at full strength. I'm a little pessimistic for this one. Anyway good luck Spurs!
