These Two....

What good friends they are becoming. They sleep together, they wake-up together, they bathe together, wrestle together. Reminds me of that sign: Sister will you..........

Just the other day Waklee got sent to the corner and Reese went and sat next to her for the six minute time out. And when I say they sleep together by that I mean they share a twin bed and we wouldn't want it any other way. So cute to peek in on them and see them snuggling up to each other or to hear them in there giggling as they are trying to fall asleep. I always want my kiddo's to share beds, maybe just a bigger one. I wondered if they would play well together with a 4 1/2 year gap and surprisingly they do. Waklee is so good to her.

Oh and we had a few fun flakes that fell on Saturday. Getting us geared up for Idaho. Can't Wait!

Look at that cute little ear sticking out. I love those cute little faces!

My Baby's 6th Birthday

Happy Birthday Waklee!!!!!!!!!!!

Waklee and Johnny shared a birthday cake!

Hannah Montana Wig and Waklee posing as the birthday girl!

Bronson giving some b-day spankins!

Oh my, my baby turned 6 today. What a fun day we had. This morning I asked Waklee to turn the t.v. down and she responded with a "Mom it is my birthday I don't have to do that." I figured okay once a year I'll let her get away with that. We had a little party tonight and got a lot of really fun pictures. Thanks for all the birthday calls. I have to admit Waklee is all ME because tonight G&G Kunz called to wish her a happy birthday and she told them, "You sang to me yesterday" and promptly ended the call and whenever anyone called she acted so not overly excited and well that is ME (we just don't know how to show it). She really was excited and had a blast and I know felt very special on her birthday! We played "Do you love your neighbor" and you knew that adults could have so much fun playing such a silly game. And of course we couldn't have a birthday without Bronson and as usual he had us all cracked up. Eric beat me out this year with the "best" gift which was .................pink golf clubs, but the Hannah Montana wig came in with a very close second. Enjoy!

Halloween Night!

The Girls were a Lion & A Lamb (not a fluffy white dog) I was so disappointed when someone thought that, oh well. Halloween is my favorite holiday and so we have been thinking up ideas all year long. Aren't those the cutest brown eyes you've ever seen on a lion.

We had such a fun Halloween. Nice to see good friends that we don't get to see all the time. Thanks for all the goodies!

A Night Of Pumpkins

Carving Pumpkins this year was interesting due to Eric and his powersaw (Rotozip) idea. Isn't that so Eric. I mostly watched cause I am a little under the weather. Isn't my little witch so cute? Thanks Grandma Lana for the fun Birthday Witch. I think I heard Waklee say that the pumpkin on the right is her Mom because she is grumpy. Thanks a lot Wakes. And Reese just likes to blow out the pumpkin candles. We are looking forward to our Trick-Or Treating tonight!

What have we been up to?

It has been a busy few weeks. We so enjoyed General Conference. The Elders from our ward and a neighboring ward came and hung out. I was practiced up from having Uncle Ty-Ty here and so cooking for missionaries was nothing. After seeing droopy eyes and nodding heads throughout Saturday's conference on Sunday I told the Elders that if I saw any sleeping Waklee would be on guard with her water gun for a quick wake up and we finally had to pull out the super soaker. It worked! Besides I think we spent more time laughing and the Elders getting soaked than we did in listening to the talks.

After Conference we went to Multnomah Falls and hiked to the top. My little girl on the go, Reese, thought she should be hiking too. Needless to say it took us awhile to complete the trip. As you can see Oregon is beautiful!

Waklee had her Rodeo Round Up Jog-A-Thon at school and what a cutie she was. Thanks for the donations!

And well I turned thirty! What a sweetie Eric is. He planned out the entire day and it was all fun, except maybe the part about him playing strip solitaire. Ask Brock or Johnny for details. That Eric is a funny guy. He gave me thirty roses and had my family write out 30 memories or nice things to say. I guess Chad just went on and on and couldn't stop. I am pretty excited to be turning thirty. I heard that in your thirties you can be saucy and well since I started our saucy............Watch out!

And Finally Just a cute pix of my sweet girls.

Happy 30th Birthday to Penny

We had a Huge party of 30's. 180 Balloons, 30 Roses, 30 cupcakes and 30 years young. We got Penny out of the house long enough to get the party ready but I think that the kids had moore fun with all of the Balloons and the sugar filled cupcakes.

Beach Bound

This is for you Grandma! We went to the nice warm waters of the Oregon Coast. Girls rode the carousel which Reese loves! We played the arcades and Waklee and I did a some bumper cars and air hockey. As usual we ended up wet and cold in the ocean and so we warmed up with some "Mo's". Waklee was excited because she likes shrimp and knows that her Grandma Jan likes seafood too. It was really cute because at one point when we were driving around Waklee says, "I love family vacation." I love that she thinks a daytrip to the beach is family vacation. I think it is our turn for a surprise visit from some Idahoan's. Just let Eric first know so he can clean the house.Ha.Ha.

Twenty Four-Seven

Now this little Chica keeps us going and if you haven't been around her you won't quite understand. She is quick, she is determined, and she is feisty. On Saturday Reese was in the tub and she repeatedly climbed out and ran around the house naked. There were 5 other adults in the house so I figured I would go on with my laundry and they would handle the little "streaker". Next I find myself wondering where Reese is??? She had escaped and went out to the play on the monkey bars. I am so thankful to "Magic Eraser". No matter how many markers, crayons, pens, pencils we hide or throw away I still find pretty drawings on my walls.....compliments of Reese. Now Reese's latest is to climb out of her crib and night and climb up Waklee's bunkbed to sit on top of her and bounce. What's funny about it is Waklee will lay there and cry, but the next morning she doesn't remember a thing. I am NOT looking forward to Reese being able to open doors, I guess we will have to child proof again. We also went swimming at Auntie Jodi's pool and oh my she has no fear. She would walk as quickly as she could right of the edge and go under and come up laughing. So yes we are 24-7 watching this little one!

Wow! 1st Day of Kindergarten!

Yes the day is finally here. In Oregon school doesn't start until after Labor Day and so Waklee has been anticipating her first day of school for quite some time since all of the Idahoans have been in school for 2 weeks now. To explain the "All About Me Sign".......when Reese goes and gets her immunizations I tell Waklee, "today is not about you, it is about Reese and so you need to help me and be brave for Reese." At the dinnertable on Tuesday Waklee informed the family that Thursday is "All about me, because I start school that day!" When I woke her up early Thursday morning she told me she hadn't slept all night long. Can't we all relate to upcoming excitement and sleeping all night and having the feeling like you didn't sleep at all. On the way to school she was worried and asked what if this day is about the other kids too? I think her 1st day was pretty great all she could talk about was the playground toys.

Since I have so many pictures and no words I will keep going. I was a little disappointed in the 1st Day of School excitment. All my great plans of having a fun lunch, treat, and dinner for Waklee didn't happen. I came down with a bad cold on Monday and have pretty much not been functioning since Tuesday. Just when I thought I was getting better I think now I may have a sinus infection. And to Grandma Lana, when Waklee tells you that, "My mom doesn't want to talk to you." Needs to be intrepreted that I feel awful and you really don't want to talk to ME. But I had to laugh at that. The kids seem to being doing okay, I can tell Reese is really fighting it off and sleeping alot which is great for me.

Also please note that I actually love color but Waklee's school has a dress code of blue, white, khaki. We did her hair in this cute little bandana and I was worried about it falling off and Waklee looking like an orphan and plus Waklee just isn't Waklee without her crazies. And so crazies it was. She definately had the cutest hair there, with the exception of one other little boy who had a mohawk that was spray painted blue to go along with the dress code.
