Ella Turns SIX!

Sweet…Sassy…and so Smart!  Ella is growing up so fast!  She is just as beautiful on the inside as she is the outside.  She loves everything pink, jewelry (lots of bling!), dancing, singing, cartwheels, twirling dresses, and reading.  She likes being “in charge”…poor Evan gets bossed around quite often.  She loves her family…she tells us often and writes it even more.  I love getting the sweetest notes from her!  I’m so proud of this sweet girl!  Happy 6th Birthday, Ella!  Mommy loves you to the moon and back!!!

Thomas The Train

We spent the Day with Thomas and some of our new friends!   We were getting ready to go see Thomas and Evan asked Cassie if Grant was his brother…lol!  They were friends from the start!  The morning started out a little rainy and cool but that didn’t stop us from a fun day with Thomas!  The boys were so excited when they saw Thomas the Train coming into his station to pick us up for our ride.   It was such a fun day with my little guy!

DSC_0878 Evan wasn’t sure about the cowboys and Indians at Tweetsie.  He would hide his head below the window and eventually ended up on my lap with his head buried in my chest!  I can remember the Indians scaring me when I was a little girl!!

Evan loved riding on the carousel!  Luckily since it was a little rainy, he got to ride a couple times before getting off :)

Just a few minutes after I took this picture, this little goat attacked Evan’s coat!  Then a few more came over and I thought they were going to eat us!!!

There were TONS of Thomas souvenirs and  Evan picked out a t-shirt and the loudest train whistle ever!!

After a long, fun day at Tweetsie, Evan fell asleep before we got out of the parking lot!

Fresh Strawberries

DSC_0445 copy

We finally have red, juicy strawberries that are ready to eat!  The kids ask everyday if they can go to the strawberry garden and pick a strawberry to eat.  So proud of ourselves for growing something that is actually edible :)  And not just edible but also GOOD!!!

The Strawberry Patch

Woohoo!  It’s strawberry season!!  We love, love, love strawberries at our house!  We went to the strawberry patch to pick strawberries to make jam.  It was super hot but so much fun!  Ella was a great strawberry picker and filled her basket up quickly!  Evan…well…let's just say he sampled every berry he picked :)

It didn’t take Evan long to realize that eating was better than picking…

When we went to pay for our berries, I offered to pay for the “bucket” Evan ate.  He had evidence all over his face, hands and shirt!
