It’s so hard to believe that another year has come and gone! This year was no different than previous years in that it was packed with lots of memories and eventful moments! From Ella catching her first fish to Evan’s first birthday party and selling our house and beginning Project House Build…it has been one heck of a year!
We started out the year by listing our house for sale and just a few months later…we found ourselves packing up and moving out! It wasn’t without its ups and downs though! We honestly thought we would NEVER close on the house (and I truly mean NEVER! Finally lucky number 7 turned out to be the lucky closing date that finally SOLD our house!!)
I have to say that it wasn’t easy packing all our things into boxes and leaving behind our first house as a family! This was the house I brought my babies home to!! But thankfully we were greeted with open arms by Mimi and Paw-Paw!
We took our new camper out for our first family camping trip! It was Evan’s first time camping and Ella caught her first fish!!
Evan seemed to enjoy himself too!
We also celebrated our first Easter as a family of 4!
And Ella danced like nobody was watching at her first dance recital!
By this time, project House Build was underway!
And somebody else was ON THE GO!
We started the summer by celebrating Ella’s 4th birthday with a Mermaid Under the Sea pool party!
Did I mention that we also had some ups and DOWNs this year?! You know “it’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to?”
Our annual Sunset Beach Bolick Family vacation was full of fun and Hurricane warnings!! It was Evan’s first beach trip and he seemed to really like the sand! I think he had sand in his diaper, ears and stomach for weeks!!
The beach was also where Evan took his first steps! Life as we previously knew it was over because when Evan started walking he hit the ground running wide open!!
Summer was fun and we were sad to see it go but we welcomed Fall! It was time to go back to preschool and to celebrate Evan’s FIRST birthday!
Ella started Pre-K! I still can’t believe this time next year I will have a Kindergartner!!
And we celebrated Evan’s FIRST birthday! We spent a fun day on the farm celebrating with the birthday boy! I still can’t believe my sweet boy is already 1!
We’re off to see the Wizard…the wonderful Wizard of Oz…without the tin man (somebody wouldn’t dress up!) I had the cutest Dorothy and Lion in Oz history!!!
We had so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!! We have been blessed beyond measure this year!! We also got very exciting news but had to keep a BIG secret until Christmas!
Before we knew it, Christmas was right around the corner! And we could finally let the cat out of the bag!! We were going to be an AUNT and UNCLE! Ella and Evan were going to have a COUSIN!!
Ella was a little worried that Santa wouldn’t know she moved but Buddy Elf found us and let Santa know we were at Mimi and Paw-Paw’s!
Looks like Santa found us!!!
We have been blessed with another year full of fun and memories! I can’t wait to see what 2012 has in store for our family!!
