One of Ella’s favorite things about living at Mimi & Paw-Paw’s house is being able to ride her bike up and down the road. She got her “big girl” bike last year for Christmas and is already asking how much longer before she can take the “little” wheels (training wheels) off! I think we need a little more practice before doing so :)

Rock Star
While we were moving, I packed up some of Ella’s toys that she wasn’t playing with that often (and I really didn’t think she would miss). It seems like lately she’s been asking for some of the ones we packed up. This past weekend, she started asking for her guitar. Cory searched and searched for it and finally ended up at Walmart to buy a new one! Ella is now happy and jamming!! And now I remember the real reason I packed the guitar :)
Ella jamming with her new guitar and guitar pick from Dierks Bentley!

Halloween 2011
This Halloween was so much fun with the kids! I even joined in and dressed up this year :) Ella loves dressing up and trick-or-treating! She wished everyone a Happy Halloween and then thanked them for the candy without being told to do so. I was so proud of her manners!! There was one little incident…we went to a few houses in our old neighborhood and actually ended up going by our old house. Ella got to the door before me and Cory did so when the lady opened the door, Ella yelled “this is my house!” The lady said “What?” and Ella yelled at her again “I said this is my house.” It was definitely an awkward moment. Thank goodness I was in costume and she wouldn’t notice me in public :) LOL! It was a little chilly Halloween night so Evan didn’t get the full trick-or-treating experience. He dressed up long enough for me to get some pictures :) I’m sure next year will be a different story! LOL! Since we were going to the Land of Oz, we decided to dress up as some of the Wizard of Oz characters. Ella was Dorothy, Evan was the Lion, and I was the “crow” according to Ella. Cory was supposed to dress up as the Tin Man but somehow he managed to avoid having to get covered in silver! He might not be so lucky next year!
