Easter!
I know I am kinda late with this one, but I have been too busy/lazy to make time to blog. Easter was actually a lot of fun! The saturday before my family went and had a picnic at Antelope Island. Cole and I got to hide the easter eggs for all the kids to hunt down. Can I just say Antelope Island is the best place for an easter egg hunt! We also went down to the beach and flew kites and played in the water a little. Sunday Cole and I ate dinner at my parents and Megan, Justin, and Asher came over. Asher is just the cutest little guy I love him to pieces! Hopefully you all had a happy Easter!

I am sure going to miss my brother and his cute little family! They are moving to Seattle at the end of this month :(

Snow Day!
Last Friday was my work's Snow Day so we were able to get a discount on tickets to SnowBasin and on ski rentals. I talked Cole into going with me so he could teach me how to ski! I had never been before and I thought it was time I learn! I was a little nervous about it, but it was SO MUCH FUN! Yes, there were times of frustration, but I think I did a pretty good job! I definitely need to go again. :)

A Person Is a Person No Matter How Small
Last saturday we had a baby shower for my sister Megan. She is due in March and is having a boy! They are planning on naming him Asher which is such a cute name! The baby's room is a Dr. Seuss theme (it looks amazing. If you want to see what it looks like click here) so we decided that we would do that for our baby shower theme as well.

We had a lot of wonderful goodies and food. My sister in law Alexis is professional at decorating for parties as you can see! ;) She does a wonderful job!

Here are the cupcakes I made for the shower which matched perfectly with the decorations! I am glad it worked out so well!

Here are a few more of our goodies. Alexis made oreo truffles (which are to die for) and I made some cake pops.

Also on the food table was the Dr. Seuss diaper cake Alexis made for Megan. I love diaper cakes they are so adorable!

Here is Meg opening some presents. It was such a nice shower and we really enjoyed everyone that came!

We had all the guests write a little message in a Dr. Seuss book, which was a great idea! My sister Emily made little thank you's which was a bag of colorful sixlets with a tag that said, "a person is a person no matter how small." CUTE! Even though I was part of throwing the shower with Emily and Alexis, they did most of the work and I really appreciate them and their creativeness! I just have amazing sisters! I love you all :) I can't wait to see Asher and hold him and love him...which I already do :)

Christmas Day!
Christmas was a very nice, semi-relaxing day. I really enjoy spending time with my family because we always have fun chatting and playing games. On Christmas Eve we always watch a White Christmas with Cole's family, which we all LOVE! And on Christmas night we went to my parents for dinner and presents.
we both wore plaid ha ha
My nieces and nephews getting ready to open their presents! They were SO excited!
My sister in law Alexis with their cute baby Bridger
You know your nephew is getting old when his favorite toy was a mp3 player :)
Cole and Avery playin'.. they are little buddies
Sabrina is doing so good crawling EVERYWHERE! I love her crazy curly hair :)
This picture is a miracle.. they are all sitting still (somewhat) and looking at the camera long enough for us to get a decent picture!
We had a great Christmas! Hopefully everyone else did too :)

The Lights and Coles Birthday
Cole's birthday was the 18th and he said he wanted to go to dinner and see the lights for his birthday. So Friday the day before his birthday we headed down to Salt Lake to see the lights at temple square. Even though the lights are the same every year they are still amazing! Hopefully everyone gets a chance to go and see the lights!

New JOB
I am sure you all remember that I have been looking for a full time job for a little while. A couple weeks ago I interviewed with three different places and I was really hoping SOMETHING would happen with one of them! Finally I got offered a job with the Civilian Health Promotions Services on Hill Air Force Base and it just so happens to be the one I wanted THE most!! I did one of my internships on base at the Warrior Fitness center and did some things with CHPS. This job has the best benefits, pays the best, and most of all I get to work with people I already know like my lovely friend Jen that I graduated with! I start on Monday and I can't wait. I am happily saying goodbye to 3 part time jobs :)
