At dinner, Ethan admitted he wasn't the best student today. Here's how that went:

Ethan: (looks guilty) I had to sit on the red line today.
Me: Why is that?
Aden: Because he wasn't a good listener.
Me: Were you not a good listener today?
Ethan (throws up his hands and shrugs his shoulders) It was an accident!
Me: I don't think it was an accident, I think you weren't listening very well.
Aden: Were you not listening well Ethan?
Ethan: I don't need your help Aden.

HA!

Ethan got a new bike from Lola and Papa this week and he's a natural on this thing. Within minutes, he could pedal (even uphill), steer and even has the brakes down.

Check him out, he's doing do well on the bike! We took a few spins around the bike trail in the neighborhood today. It was such a beautiful day! 72 and sunny. We actually put on shorts!

We took the boys to see The Lorax tonight, and grandma joined us! Such a cute movie. We took a couple hand made Truffula trees with us too. The boys had a great time. Ethan even danced in his seat during the music numbers.

Ethan tells me he wishes I had yellow hair.

Aden's school is having Seuss Week in honor of Dr Seuss's birthday (March 2) and Read Across America. Every day this week was a different theme. Today was silly socks day. Tomorrow is the grand finale... A class party hosted by yours truly!

I have spent the past approximately 4 weeks preparing things for this party. I think I may have gone a little overboard. But I'm excited for Aden and I really hope he loves his party.

Ethan has been a bit put out by the whole thing. He has decided he's going to have a party with cake. Sweet baby don't you worry... You'll have Kindergarten parties soon enough.
